That was at Wilson's nighclub, called the Silver Slipper. The water wasn't coloured, it was straight water, which Greb pretended was gin. :good

Raul (Jibaro) Perez (5' 10 or 11, 118 Champ) fought for what was thought to be years with a massive tapeworm in his stomach. The guys at the gym he trained at couldn't figure out how he could eat like he did and still make weight. After the tapeworm was discovered and removed, his lost his next fight/title and was never the same.

I thought it had more to do with the devastating ko he suffered at the hands of Genaro Hernandez...

Bob Foster, the sherriff of his hometown, took his job so seriously he once gave his wife a parking ticket.

Kermit Cintron roared back from behind to stop Humberto Aranda, who beat Ricardo Mayorga, in Mayorga's first fight.

It very well may have. I used to train in the same gym as Perez's cousin...he's the one who told me that Jibaro was never the same after the tapeworm was removed. I'm sure Hernandez's skill played a factor in it.

Freddie 'Red' Cochrane held the World Welterweight title from 1941 - 1946. An uninterupted span of 5 years, which is longer than any other person, including legends like Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Emile Griffith etc, have ever held the title for. Yet ironically, he lost plenty of fights before, during and after this time and had an unremarkable record as a boxer even though he is the longest reigning welterweight champion of all time.

Would that have anything to do with the war?
