Cleverly wins by TKO7 bringing new blood to the aging LHW division, expect to hear more noise from him. I hope he fights Carl Froch one day.
Missed the fight mate, how did Clev look? Did he outclass McIntosh or was it pretty close up to the finish?
McIntosh was pretty much a punching bag, Cleverly did get a sloppy times, but overall a great performance.
I thought Nathan looked very slick tonight,and had too much in every dept for McKintosh.Seems to have a lot going for him,and has his head firmly screwed on.If you were picky you could fault Cleverley on his impatience,he wanted to knock McKintosh out,and forgot his boxing at times.
Saw in Canada, never heard of him before but that Welshman Cleverly made McKintosh look like a bum i.e a typical english fighter
He looked class mate. Scored several knock downs, spoiled his own work at times, think that was due to McIntosh pulling ******ed faces and talking **** instead of fighting. I was very impressed especially with his body work.
Impressed with Cleverly's body punching tonight. McIntosh got too obsessed with show boating, it got a bit ridiculous.
Cleverly looked fantastic. At 22 years old and already being the British champion, thats pretty impressive. Seen him a few times now and he always looks slick, sharp and dominant. His record does not give an accurate rating of his punching power. Im expecting big things. ps. I dont know if anyone caught the end of ITV4 Big fight live but they think he could be in with Clinton woods in the next 2 or 3 fights. opinions??
Clinton's over the hill at this stage but would definately come to fight and would be a good gauge of what is to be expected of cleverly.
Cleverly has been getting better and better. I think he's going to be a world beater, i really do. How funny was that jimmy flip Mcintosh did back on his feet! haha!
