    Kotelnik is catching him, Kahn is getting hurt to the body and is sucking air badly. He is starting to move less and less.

    R9 Kotelnik has trouble finding Khan, gets desperate. Beautiful foot and upper body movement by Khan, though a bit less effectiveness, but still a clear round. Khan.

    I think it is basically tied. 5-4 one way or the other. Kotelnik won that round Khan isn't hitting anything but gloves.

    Khan sustaining the abdominal attack. Kotelnik looks slower than Shannon Briggs in there (hands and feet).

    Khan getting sloppier now, winging arm punches as he breezes by Kotelnik in dizzying circles. Kotelnik pins Amir on the ropes with less than a minute left, good series of touches to Khan's belly before Amir shimmies out of harm's way.

    Kotelnik actually landed upstairs for the first time in several rounds.

    Toe-to-toe exchange with five seconds left.

    I may have to give that to Kotelnik as Khan barely landed anything...more or less took a round off.

    if you're looking to give a round to Kotelnik, that was it...Khan, as the announcers alluded to, seemed to take a bit of a breather that round...it was still a close round, but Kotelnik actually got him into some firefights there for the first time in a while...7-2 Khan

    It would be a disgrace if the rumours are true and Khan plans to dump the belt rather than face Maidana. Khan doing very well so far.

    Funny thing is Khan is winning very decisively but he isn't really hurting Kotelnik.

    Kotelnik found that second wind. Battering Amir on the ropes. Khan squirming away, bending his body and tagging Kotelnik's before zipping back out of range.

    Khan tiptoes into a superior position, stepping outside Kotelnik's lead foot and lands a hard 1-2.

    Kotelnik waiting for an opening to time Khan. Been a long night of waiting.

    Khan flurries downstairs. Escapes retribution. Upstairs. Escapes retribution. Kotelnik launches himself at Khan and they collide into a clinch on the ropes.
