Hamed, a legend, best british boxer of my time. Could and should have fought and beat the 4 other great feathes of his era as at his peak was better than all of them (thats MAB, EM, Pac & JMM) and no that was nothing like peak Hamed that was out pointed against the best version of MAB
Again, alphabet, alphabet, alphabet.Overrated resume, overrated fighter.Medina 5world titles?Bull****.McCullough was a bantamweight.Marquez,Morales and barrera would have kicked his ****ing ass.Oh wait,Barrera did. What the **** do you think Mayweather would have done to him at 128?Hahaha.
Vargas was not better than Naz. Different levels. Vargas was an opponent to good fighteres and Naz was the good fighter.
There is nothing wrong with saying Vargas is not as good as Hamed. But for people who say he was as good as Hamed, what are you reasons?
Vargas fought great fighters and won. He also took great fighters deep into bouts. When he didn't win he was always in the fight. After a loss he would fight his way back into contention. His career is remembered for great fights he was in. Naseem was good but he quit before he really did anything. His body of work is not that impressive. Just highlight reel knockouts of also rans.
I remember during his fights the camera occasionally panned to his hot blonde wife. I wonder if she's still with him now that he looks like a fat Yemeni midget street vendor. Or maybe he brought her looks down with him.
vargas was better and achieved more. youngest jr middle champ ever. hamed had 1 fight in elite class against barrera and lost. vargas may have lost his fights in elite class against tito, oscar and mosley. but he beat winky, who was definitely elite class and one of the best jr middle's of all time. beat ike quartey only a year or so after oscar and did a better job than oscar. naz beat some good top 10 fighters and racked up the defences. but was well beaten by barrera and then walked away. vargas had a better career. :deal
Hamed was a unified, linear champion who won more world titles. There is not much difference in resumes with Vargas' having the overall edge, but not the depth. Talent wise, Naz was better and doesn't have 5 loses (including 4 KO's) on his record.
