... if you could choose Khan's few fights, who would they be against? He has worked incredibly hard on his style and patience in picking shots at the right times since the Prescott loss and last night achieved 'World Champion' status by beating a durable, well schooled opponent in Kotelnik.

It would be a shame if Khan doesn't take the mandatory with Maidana and just effectively threw his belt away now as he earned it, IMO. Warren might now play the WBA at their own game and go for a unification to avoid the Maidana fight and achieve 'WBA Super Champion' status. Personally, I think a fight with the winner of Bradley-Campbell should be next as that could provide Khan with a headlining bill in America.

It will most probably be Hatton next as Sky keep talking it up- it's not even on the sly, they just keep saying 'talk of a Hatton fight' yet they're the only ones mentioning it!

That said, the question is simple, who would YOU choose for Khan's next few fights?:think

What about Witter if he wins his next fight? Unification then the winner of that to fight the Bradley-Campbell winner.

I think he should stay at 140. Feed him Casamayor, then go for witter and if he manages to get passed those two, we can have Hatton - Khan.

    Hmmm......

I don't believe champions should be allowed easy first defences ala Michael Dokes or Arturo Morua.... so it would be someone tough.

That said, I would stay the **** away from Maidana, that is for sure.

Probably someone like Demetrius Hopkins would be a safe opponent for a US debut.

Down the line I would be eyeing up Berto - he is a schooling waiting to happen....

If Witter wins then it's a good domestic fight but Alexander doesn't really have a huge following. There is probably more kudos and money if Khan were to fight Campbell, who is a seasonsed pro with a big name, and the Yanks also love Bradley. I'm convinced that Warren should go for a unification next if he wants to play the WBA at their own game.

I'd like to see him face Maidana as the mandatory, at least try to keep hold of his belt.

But i suspect the gameplan is to take Morales next on a big American card, then after that its Hatton back in England for loads of money.

It'll be Morales and Hatton :( stupid IMO. Obviously NOT building him as a legitimate fighter but a young gay beating old 'names'.

I honestly think Khan-Hatton could work like DLH-Chavez; the counry turning on him for battering stopping Hatton in a one-sided fashion.

Anyways, I would like him to fight Maidana next. A mandatory challenge is the best option, shows he's serious about the fight game. Kotelnik was good but not as problematic as I envisioned (i.e couldn't hurt Khan and show us how he reacted)

Maidana is a good choice. He is slow but unpredictable at times and posseses serious power. However, he CAN be dropped (Ortiz) and he CAN be nullified and outboxed (Kotelnik to an extent)

It would be a headline U.S fight (especially now Maidana is more well known over there)

If not, Valero at the O2. Would do big business and Valero is as outboxable as they come. Would also serve to end any questions about Khan being in with a big puncher.

As long as he can put Khan on SBO and sell the fight to the casuals then that's all that matters to Mr Warren.

I could see him fighting Malignaggi as well(for obvious reasons) if he beats Diaz, which I doubt he will.

    Hmmm.......

No ticket sales though. I actually hope he does go to the States - they always take the **** out of our guys for staying at home and making easy defences, so time to prove them wrong.

    He should fight Witter.

Witter has overrated power and a shitty workrate, I think Khan takes a comfortable UD against a respected opponent.

Are you kidding mate. I would bet my life that Berto would destroy Khan at 147.

    Down the line I said.

Berto isn't that good - Collazo beat him, he was basically hugging Urango to death all night.

He isn't that big a puncher, he is really clunky, hittable and hasn't faced a fast fighter.

Of course, Khan's chin could let him down.
