lads if espn doesnt pick up all of setantas foreign contracts then we collectively as boxing fans are ****ed!

the fact that itv are pulling the plug as well means that we will have to make do with terrible ppv's and those awful friday fight nights where the fighters really are second/third rate for the most part, promoters use them to get their prospects to smack the **** outa human punchbags. its killing the sport through a slow tortuous way.

tuesday nights should be used for the weaker domestic cards and the fridays used for euro title fights, domestic unifications etc and ppvs few and far between.

its only that we are proper boxing fans that we can become aware of this. the casual fan eats that **** up and then thinks that this is what top class boxing really is.

and as for the sky team- jim watt and maybe mccrory aside - they need to ask themselves this; are we impartial journalists or are we part of the sky/promoter conspiracy selling our souls?

I was disappointed they never showed the Brook fight. Id rather have seen that than the 3 Olympians.

Brook / lomax was main support and enzo fight was support to that - the oympians were down the card - I really wanted to see enzo and brook fights, was i expecting too much on a ppv to see the main support...very bitter and disapointed with it all

You have Amir Khan to thank for this. He's the one that wanted the big bucks and the only way Warren could come up with the cash was via PPV.

Excatly! they should have started the PPV when the show started then they could have broadcast all the fights live as they happened. This would have also given them a bit more time to build up all the matches on the card. I fully expected them however to show the Mitchell and Enzo fights after Khan had finished but they didn't even do that - not even highlights! which was a disgrace.

I will definately be complaining to sky (for all the good that will do)...

It was a joke they did not show the Enzo or Kell Brook fight at all. Good news there prob be another 2 ppvs in September Haye v Klitschko and Mayweather v Marquez!!

Why dont you learn to read? I said it was Khans fault that the entire event is PPV in the first place. The only way Frank could get Khan the money he demanded when he renegociated his contract with SN was by putting all his fights on Sky PPV. If that wasnt the case no one would have anything to complain about because you wouldnt have had to pay extra for the fight other than your Sky subscription.

It would have made much more sense to simply start the broadcast when the first fight started. Whoever wanted to watch Enzo & Kell Brook could have done so. Why they couldn't have done this I don't know, but the fact that those two fights were missing in favour of run of the mill, straight forward, comfortable wins for the Olympic lads made the mockery of Sky's PPV.

mate this is goin off on a tangent the politics of ppv and khans fights being on ppv can be saved for another thread my original point when i started this thread was the poor value for money all of us boxing fans recieved last night when it seems quiet simple that sky who filmed all the fights chose not to show them
