Yeah, he definitely isn't the talent. I mean more in how much better Pac is in terms of intelligence and skill.

sorry if i point out the facts, while you try and save face picking faults with title victories. Because you ALWAYS pick Khan to lose against EVERYONE. Khan winning ten rounds against a world champion is an impressive victory, even for a miserable ******* like you surely??

before it was khan will never a belt, then it was khan will never win a world title, now it's khan will never be as good as Pacquiao, next it will be khan will be nowhere near as good as Leonard and Robinson.

He's a 22 year old world champion, and with one of the best trainers in the sport who has a lot of faith in him -- relax FFS. I still think you should ring up khan and roach and give them some of your insight though. :smooch

Pacquiao was getting KOd by unknown Filipinos in backstreet boxing clubs at a similar age.

 I was surprised that those pitta patta girly punches impressed the judges so much. Most of them landed on the gloves of Kotelnik.

I'll agree with that allso,he don't just look fragile he is fragile.Anyone else notice his legs look a little wobbly a couple of times when half caught by Kotelnik??? Allso anyone else notice that the Champion took the VAST majority of Amirs punches on gloves and forearms. That said congrats to Khan he stuck to Roaches game plan and managed to pull it off.

Very true, still he did win pretty clearly because Kotelnik just did not do enough.

Good post, People forget Khan is still only 22, and has only been with Dr.Roach for 9 months. Question is at this rate how good will he be in 4 years when he starts hitting his peak?

Kotelnik took ALOT of punches on his arms. I dont know what fight one of those judges was watching to score it so widely with 120-108. Judging by that score you would have thought Kotelnik turned up and that was it?

Oh please, there are worse judging performances on a daily basis than the judge who scored the fight 120-108 in Khan's favour.

Yes, A LOT of Khan's punches hit glove, but even so he landed more in pretty much every round than Kotelnik, whose workrate is around on the same level as Eastman's when he was fighting.

You do realise that by comparing khan to pacquiao you are acknowledging that he is worthy of comparison? He still has 4 years to reach his peak, and has only had 3 camps with roach as of yet.

Like the other guy said, first it was amir will never beat a world title and if he does then it will be a WBU or WBO.

Now it is amir will never beat a 'real' champion meaning the lineal champion.

After that it will be amir will never be as good as mayweather or pacquiao.

scurlaruntings, you must be watchung a diffrent fight from everyone else, amir's movement was excellent moving side to side, jabbing beautifully.imo koletnek knew he was a beaten man by round 6,he simply couldn't pin khan down.

To be fair to Khan, as far as I am aware, Kotelnik has never been down. He is a pretty durable character. Still, Khans punches didn't appear to have much.

I think the main change was with Khan's footwork.

Maybe it's just me, but why do the cuffs of Khan's gloves always look disproportionately big?

True but could he get away with that pitta patta "I am going to hit your gloves all night" style against one of the other top 10 LW's?

He looks good when he lets his hands go but if everyone is honest they hardly do any damage.
