Could Khan take the right hand that Hatton hit Pacquiao with?

    I'm not sure he could.

    No.

That's what I mean, Hatton moves just like he ever did. He gets into positions to do damage, he can still punch, he's still pretty quick and strong.

His petrol tank is smaller than it used to be, he gets tired quicker. That's why he got stunned by Lazcano. Pac is just Pac, Pac is a dynamite puncher and caught Hatton with awful shots.

that's what i think too....i usually take warren seriously when he breaks a fight down......but when he talks likes this, i dont take frank to seriously....

khan hatton is interesting....if hatton uses his footwork, gets inside, he will either crack khan's chin or khan won't get his punches off....even manny said he felt hattton's power and is a very strong guy....i think hatton's offense is still there....its his punch resistance thats questionable....and his defense has always been bad....

but i like khan's chances aslong as roach is in the corner....

I think the thing is a lot of people hated seeing Hatton out cold. I did and I love to watch Manny fight.

I know the people who hate him, hate him but he has a lot of people who genuinely support him.

That concern is the reason behind all the calls for him to retire, Roach has told him but he knows Ricky's a big man who makes his own decisions but he told him straight he could suffer later in life.

As I say I think Warren wants the fight but he's putting as plainly as possible if you take it this could happen. You still want it?

He was out cold because he caught a hook square on the jaw from a big puncher.

That has happened numerous times to other fighters throughout their career, its part of boxing.

It doesn't suggest the same would happen against Khan. Khan running backwards isn't getting much leverage on his punches.

It was a big hit. It was a good right hand, and Pac did that stupid thing putting his hands in the air to 'prove' he wasn't hurt. Tells me he at least felt the punch. Quite frankly, I wouldn't be that confident if Khan took that punch.

All 3 of those are pretty bad, especially Stewart, Khan's a couple of levels above the lot

I was watching Morales/Pac 1 last night and he kept doing it when Erik was really laying into him, he seems to do it when he is hurt sometimes and he does it other times when he's just flaying them alive.

The Sky comms were clutching at straws yes, but I think that right would have knocked Khan out, or at the very least made him a sitting duck.

Pac does that when he's hit by a good shot. He doesn't do it when he's cuffed. He's acknowledging a good hit.

A good hit from Hatton is a lot different to one from Kotelnik.

Any more shot than Barrera? Or potentially Morales..?

Hattons got enough in the tank for Khan, the Malignaggi fight wasnt that long ago and he fought well there.

i'm curious too how khan would react to a big shot from hatton....we know paulie has a stronger chin then khan....but once hatton conected in round 2 on paulie, mentally the fight was over......i'm wondering how khan woud react to a shot like that.....

and khan is not the beast of a puncher...he is solid, but not manny....

Nevermind Manny, Khan is no kind of puncher when he's going backwards. That can make a huge difference when you are not a natural counterpuncher. Look at guys like Kostya Tszyu, his power was neutralized by Hatton and Phillips because he was going backwards. Miguel Cotto couldn't get **** on his punches when he was figting Margarito because he was backing off and he's not used to it.

Khan's punches are like featherdusters unless he can step forward with them. If Hatton can constantly keep him going backwards he wins.

thats what i think too, i think hatton would smother khan, classic hatton, and would be a close points win.....prime hatton ko's khan in 4...

I think the Hatton that fought Michael Stewart would stop Khan in a round.
