Castillo/Mayweather I

    I've watched and scored this fight 5 times, and just got finished watching it again a few minutes ago. I find myself agreeing with Harold Lederman's scorecard and have it 115-111 Castillo.

    This isn't a Mayweather bashing thread. I'm genuinely interested in hearing how people have scored this fight, especially those of you that gave it to Mayweather. Can you tell me which rounds you gave to Mayweather and why?

    Here is my scorecard:

    1. 10-9 Mayweather
    2. 10-9 Mayweather
    3. 10-9 Castillo
    4. 10-9 Mayweather (one of the times I scored this round, I gave it to Castillo)
    5. 10-9 Castillo
    6. 10-9 Castillo
    7. 10-9 Castillo
    8. 9-9 (minus a point from Castillo for punching after the break)
    9. 10-9 Mayweather
    10. 10-8 Castillo (minus a point from Mayweather for the forearm to the neck)
    11. 10-9 Castillo
    12. 10-9 Castillo

    115-111 Castillo

    Been there, done that x 5,000.

    Mayweather won the fight, then won the 2nd fight. It's over and done with. Far from the most controversial decision of all time.. really far.

    I`ll have to watch it again for the round by round but I scored it for Floyd at the time.I was actually rooting for Castillo though,so I have no doubt that Floyd won.I remember being really annoyed with Castillo in the late rounds because i felt he wasn`t doing enough and let his chance slip away.

    did u watch castillo-casamayor?
    i had the bout 8-4 to casa...still castillo pulled a UD(one score card was 117-111!!!!)
    but i grew out of it and moved on
    i will encourage you to do the same.
    even if i believe floyd won that fight and gave castillo a rematch and took him to school
    castillo never gave casa a rematch.

    it was a close fight,always look like the underdog won.
    but floyd erased all doubts with a rematch

    :lol: Im not even going to question how you gave Castillo round 3.. but round 10. Did you even watch that round?

    For 2 minutes Mayweather clear as day, hits him cleanly, and dodges almost all of Castillo punches. Then in the last minute, the only thing that favors Castillo in that round is when Drac let's Castillo hit Floyd freely in the side while behind him.

    Really??? I always felt floyd did not do enough and that Castillo won
    the last 2 rounds convincingly. I think you are confusing the first with the second fight where PBF really did come a bit stronger down the stretch.
