'Pretty Boy' Floyd MAYWEATHER JR. vs. Joel 'El Cepillo' CASAMAYOR @ 135lbs

Keeping at mind that styles make fights, and that Floyd's work at 135 wasn't that impressive, who wins this and how?

 

I saw Enzo Macarinelli's last fight and felt sorry for him

Casamayor isn't going to be outboxed by anyone.

 

Mayweather, but i'll tell you this, Casa would give him absolute hell in the early going. Floyd, despite what many say is a dirty fighter, and up close he like to fiddle his way around, Casa is far to clever, and dirty a fighter to let Floyd have his way on the inside. Casa's southpaw stance would also cause Floyd a lot of problems. I would see Floyd changing tactics in the mid rounds after being roughed up by dirty tactics, and resort to boxing at range and pot shotting his way to a win.

I would actually have this down as a tougher test than Floyd has ever had.

Corrales held the centre of the ring, Casamayor was trying to outbox Corrales from the outside for literally the entire fight.

The fight was a split decision, with one judge having it 114-113 in favour of Casamayor.

Niether technically, literally or figuratively, was Casamayor "outboxed" by Corrales in their rematch.

Well, let me tell you, it's already happened against JLC.

 

No matter what people do, no matter what people say, no matter how many times you say it, no matter how many new clues you THINK you found. Castillo lost. HE LOST. OK? HE LOST... LOST. As for Casa, he went 3 fights with Corrales(who Floyd destroyed) He lost to Castillo(who Floyd beat TWICE) The only thing Floyd would have ever had to worry about in a fight with Casa would be head bunts & dirty tactics. Casa CANNOT outbox Floyd, Casa WAS NOT faster than Floyd. Casa=very good boxing ability. Floyd=Great boxing ability. And I believe you mean 130 lbs when talking Floyd vs Casa fighting, when Floyd let his hands go more back then. So yes, Floyd UD.
