Cotto is best fight at welter

Maybe if you watch what the two have done since that fight, and look at Manny's style against that of Shane or Cotto, you will see that Pac fares much better against Cotto than Shane.


The simple Cotto > Shane, so Cotto is harder than Shane for Pac is just senseless...

 

I have my preference. You have yours. I don't like or root for him. His style is exciting, but he is not who I root for. What about this is so hard for Cotto fans to digest?

 

if you watched mosley in the cotto fight and the mosley in the margarito fight the one in the margarito fight looked in much better shape maybe it was finally getting past the divorce he could focus fully again

 

Cotto is one of my favorite fighters but I'm not sure if he would be Pacquiao's toughest opponent. Mosley might be Pacquiao's toughest and that is probably why Roach won't let him fight mosley

 

JMM was Mannys toughest opponent. I cant see Cotto being harder than he was

I don't like Cotto and I tried. I was a huge fan of Tito Trinidad so when I heard of Cotto i was excited to see him. When I saw him I was less then thrilled.

He has zero personality, " who ever my company wants me to fight" i hate that ****.

I didn't like him at 140, he would come in 2 weight divisions heavier. like wtf why fight at that weight? (i think he stayed too long and may have hurt him in the long run, karma)

When he is the far more talented fighter(ie Gomez, Jennings) he fights with arrogance. as opposed to the margo, Clottey and Mosley fights.

Has never fought and beat a Champion for a Championship. He just likes to claim vacant titles against contenders.

I also hate people who think Cotto could "outbox" Trinidad head to head.

Oh and Cotto or his team turned down fights with Mayweather after he whipped Cotto's Cousin like a scrub.

 

Margarito beat a Clottey with a broken hand. Of course he had an easier time. The fact of the matter is that Cotto beat Mosley hands down. This logic of who beat who doesn't mean jack. Maybe the fact that Margarito was exposed with having the plaster wrapped in his hands prior to the fight with Mosley that made him feel weary while fighting and it was evident he did not look the same as in the Cotto fight. But, regardless, Mosley beat Margarito. This doesn't mean that Mosley can now beat Cotto though.
