Pretty extreme, this guy Shumenov is only 8-0 but he's already beaten some pretty good vets in Montell Griffin and Byron Mitchell. Now i read that he's getting a WBA-title shot in his 9th pro fight. Ofcourse, the guy holding the title is not even a top-10 LHW, but still (for those who wonder who the f*** is Campillo, he's the guy who upset Argentine's Hugo Garay a while ago to win the belt). What i find interesing to think about, is if Shumenov wins the title, what are they gonna do with him next? You can hardly throw him in there with the other title-holders right away.
Wow. Shumenov seems to be the real deal. Everything Oner's Cubans promised to be, Beibut may just deliver on. Of course, by that same token...guarded optimism. Once bitten.
****, i have big hopes in this guy!:thumbsup I think Shumenov is gonna put a beating on this Campillo. Chad start to pack your bags and gtfo from 175, young guns are waiting for you.:deal
Shumenov's the man. Hopefully he, Cloud, and Dawson (maybe even Kessler in the future) can have themselves a nice rivalry at LHW.
:good This content is protected That is propably something like Chad's face gonna look like if he happens to watch Shumenov in Actionrofl:rofl
Chad is more afraid of getting bit by a mosquito at a backyard bbq than he is of fighting shumenov. the only thing he'd be scared of is how tiny his paycheck would be since nobodys heard of shumenov except his immediate family and his barber in kazahkstan
Oh jesus the guy beat Montell "I haven't seen the top 10 in 8 years" Griffin lets not get ahead of ourselves.
Each of his last three fights have been syndicated on tape delay in the US as well. Since Campillo is a no-name, I suspect the same will happen for this one, although I'd love it if they picked it up for cheap on ESPN Classic or something.
