Classic lightweight tournament

Inspired by Sweet Scientist's 140 pound tournament from a while back. I've randomly picked 32 lightweights from the annals of boxing's rich history, you might feel i've must some out who are more worthy than a name involved, but i think the list is good and i really wanted to mix up the eras.

The tournament works likes this;

Over the next couple of weeks i will post fights that i have randomly picked out of a hat (sad i know), you must give some form of reasoning for your answer otherwise it will not be counted, i will count up the votes after giving notice of when the voting is to be closed. The fighters with the most votes progress to the next round, until we have a winner.

If there is a fighter you have not seen footage of but you do have knowledge of him, then feel free to make an analysis and a pick for the bout he has been picked to participate in.

Come on La-Califa, don't knock my tourney before it gets under way. You know my heart's in the right place!

Like i said i wanted to mix it up and i know there are some that the board would feel more worthy than who are in it.

I made the tourney at my own peril!

But i'm not changing now, the fights are already made, some just slip your mind sorry for the offense!

 

I'll admit there was corruption here, i didn;t want him winning! Kidding, it's just a massively deep division, the greatest lightweights are in there,

 

What can i do? That's how they drew i swear, i'm honest.

Also we have probably the fight of the tournament in the first round in Ortiz-Arguello.

 

Oh okay, maybe we could do this again if some of you want to take up the responsibility, would be great.
