    At 145 . . . I'm still guessing. :D

Pac is faster but I'm still wondering on how Pac would react to Cotto's power punches.

I'll make my pick after the weight in. :yep

At this weight Cotto stops pac in the later rounds...Cotto is the naturally bigger guy and will overwhelm pac with the power pressure cotto will bring.....Its a mismatch.

I don't find this matchup as intriguing as a couple of others Manny could have fought but I'm looking forward to it none the less. I believe this fight is a mismatch in favor of Manny.

Manny has proved twice over that he doesn't need to be the bigger man to win, and win by stoppage at that. Manny is much faster than Cotto and while he's not going to be as strong he's got the firepower necessary to stop Cotto. Manny's biggest advantage in this fight however is Margarito. Many may disagree with me but the Cotto we've seen since his loss to Margarito is far less aggressive and authoritative in the ring. I would go so far as to say he's much to timid now to pose any type of serious threat to Manny. Manny is coming off a few totally and utterly dominating performances against much bigger men. Cotto is coming off a fight he barely won, a mismatch comeback fight, and the Maragito loss.

Cotto may hit Manny flush on more than one occasion but I don't see it being a problem for Manny and since I believe Cotto's killer instinct to be gone I don't see the fight faring well for Miguel as it will take constant speed, pressure, and power to beat Manny. It's going to take a barrage of heavy well timed punches to stop Pac Man. I belive Manny to be the better boxer of the two as well though I expect Cotto to be a live underdog for the early part of the fight.

Manny by KO inside of 6.

Thats a good post. I fear the same thing. Miguel should go to a top boxing pychologist or get some hypnotherapy to get his head where it has to be

Let's see....Cotto was a punching bag against Tony. Pac is faster and has more movement. Judah(a southpaw) did pretty good against Cotto until his punchout went way down after the ballbashing incidents. Since Manny doesn't have balls(for not fighting Mosley) he should win this one. It will be interesting to see how he takes punches though. Who ever is getting backed up will lose. Stylisticly my choice is Pacquiao. Cotto's cut he suffered in the Clottey fight will be reopened and cause plenty of problems. Trust me that cut is on the to do list of Freddie Roach.
