    Yeah, let's completely disregard what Team Pacquiao had been saying that they don't want Cotto to come too big for Pac at fight time. It's really ridiculous for them to think that Cotto's too big for Pac because Pac is a former cruiserweight, right?

    Too big?

    So by fighting 1lb lower than where Cotto weighed in last time is automatically going to stop him from weighing what he normally does on fight night? :patsch

    Margo was out of the picture.

    Cotto was comming off a jennings win

    Mosley was offered the fight and turned it down.

    What more do you want?

    Fighting JMM is not bad. It's a good fight.

    Again, I do not know but maybe for some psychological effect on Cotto. Cotto weighed 1 lb below 147 limit so he it's possible that he will weighed 1 lb below the 145 catchweight which would mean at least 3 lb.

    You dont know then you say 1lb weighing in is 3lbs hydrating up?

    :lol: Cotto weighing in at 145 doesn't mean he's going to suddenly not gain 3lbs when hydrating up. :patsch

    I'm not saying that the JMM fight is bad. JMM is a great fighter, I belong to the minority who thinks that JMM is more than capable of beating Floyd. I simply stated the fact that Floyd is fighting a lightweight in JMM.

    Don't laugh like an idiot. I know you knew what I meant to say but if you didn't, I simply mean to say 3 lb less than the 147 limit which could mean 3 lbs less than Cotto's usual weight when hydrated.

    :rofland here is a clear cut example of a fighters perspective in life.

    pac- the smaller guy coming up in weight looking out for challenges to cement his legacy. diaz, morales, dlh, hatton- bigger than pac.

    pbf-:rofl:lol::D

    If officially means nothing to you, then stop bitching about catchweight which is exactly all about it. :deal

    Pac gives up size vs Cotto where as Mayweather needs a huge size advantage and fights a lightweight. JMM isn't even a big lightweight. There is evidence he won't carry up the weight well, he is what almost 37? Is there a chance JMM can win? Yes, he is a great fighter, however, the size potentially factors heavily in Mayweather's favor although its possible it doesn't play out that way, then again, it may make all the difference in the world.

    The point is, Pac is giving up the very same advantage (size) that Mayweather hides behind.
