Tua had a few opponents that could probably qualify for this thread.

One of history's more amazing fights. Likewise Louis vs Conn (as already nonimated above) where Conn went within a whisker of a major, major accomplishment. Yet another case of 'if only he'd have stayed away'.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Frank Bruno vs Lennox Lewis.

That brings to mind the way Bruno whitewashed a tight Bonecrusher Smith for nine rounds before getting the boom lowered on him in the tenth.

I've only seen brief clips of it, but I get the impression that Nunn was taking Toney to school before a massive hook flattened him in round 11.

    Louis - Conn
    Marciano - Walcott 1
    Foreman - Moore

Although not a devastating KO, would Ali vs Lyle count? Ali was comfortably behind.

To pick one of the many that my favourite boxer suffered: Frank Bruno fought like an ATG for the first 5 rounds of his fight with Lewis, before tiring in the 6th and being brutally stopped in the 7th.

I definitely agree with Beeston. Frank Bruno,in my estimation, never looked better. He was so fired up and boxing skilfully. It's ashame that his usual weakness came back to haunt him, getting tagged and freezing up instead of covering up.

Jhonny Gonzalez deserves a mention for his clinic against Penalosa before getting stopped with a horrible punch. Horrible, horrible.

I think Conn's performance is one of the best filmed performances full stop though, so I'd pick that one, agree with everyone who has put that up.
