Like i said, Cotto is versatile and has them great hooks as you mentioned, but i will pick Pacquiao if i'm pushed, i do like both men. It was an unbiased opinion my post.

Clottey had no trouble finding Cotto. Manny punches way faster than Clottey. It's a hard days night for Cotto....

unless he can land something substantial. Like has been said, we dont know how Mannys going to react to the big difference in power that Cotto will bring

and both Diaz and Oscar had little trouble taking Mannys power, it was all about the speed

Cotto should not be affected by 145, but he's not really prime in a sense. I don't see the same fighter mentally and physically (since Margarito although this may only come into play against fighters who are bigger and can back him up). He is bigger and stronger (maybe), so perhaps this off-sets what I see as Cotto's other disadvantages. The speed may be the main thing with Pacquiao having a large advantage (foot and hand speed).

JMM won't have any trouble with weight/size in his fight with Floyd. It will be a very tough and competitive fight. I standby my hypothesis that JMM is a tougher opponent for Floyd than Pacquiao.

    Good to see you back:good

I think Cotto's punch resistance will be not as good as it would be at 147lbs because it is a fact that as you come down in weight even if it is a pound or 2 your far more likely to be hurt and not be able to recover quickly.

Have you ever forgotten to eat a meal and felt that lightheaded and weak feeling in your stomach, well I think it would be safe to say that I believe he will make weight but it all depends on what he does after that weigh in and whether he can feed his body back to full strength.

If he makes 145 and he does it by just dieting and not by melting himself down too much then he could very well come in strong but I still believe his punch resistance wont be the same as it would be if he had the opportunity to weigh in at 147lbs, 1 or 2lbs make alot of difference to a 12 round performance.

It all depends on what he does outside of the ring, i.e. drinking alcohol, going out on the lash, you know...

JMM is an unanswered question at this point in time. Nobody knows how he will perform with the extra weight so its hard to answer that now.

JMM can't be ranked #2 because that would mean that Pac is ranked #3.

Pac/ cotto fight is harder to predict. Cotto is prime like Pac, what puzzles me is how Pac would look against a prime Cotto since everyone says Hatton and DLH were cherry picked(BS!). And if Cotto gave Mosely a hardtime, what more to Pac right?

PBF/JMM is a mismatch, JMM is a warrior and would definitely give his all, but this is Floyds territory, sure he's been out a couple of years, but he's faced bigger men with bigger power than JMM, not skillwise though. If JMM's power doesnt bother Floyd, I'm sure JMM will more than connect, but will it affect floyd?

I really wonder what Roach saw in Cotto that made him tell Pac to take the fight. Maybe it is the theory that Roach feels that Cotto is damaged from the Margarito fight. If it is based on that, then Roach is gambling with Pac's health. Beating Jennings proved nothing, but beating Clottey with one eye hurt just proves his heart, being focused and toughness.
