Have to laugh about this really.... I would say 90% of people here wouldnt even go to a boxing event...they are purely internet readers and throw their opinion around as if they were real boxing fans complaining about quality of cards....
Can people name 1 card within the last 5 years in ireland that had a top quality card (the whole card) people have no idea how much a promotion actually costs to stage....and how much boxers purses are especially with no sponsers and so on.....ticket sales only cover a fraction of the costs...

Rogan-Sexton was a great fight and hopefully their rematch will be as good as their last fight without Rogan either been a gentleman or stupid and showing mercy....... but the whole undercard was not everyone fighting top quality opposition, but i know rogie and the lads in breens gym bought tickets for the due and are looknig forward to a great night of boxing
If it was down to paddy snr, i know everyone would be fighting decent opposition, but some guys on the card have their own camp doing their matchmaking.

thats a bit unfair mate...most of the guys on this thread here go 2 shows...i alone have been to 3 shows this year...and i plan 2 go 2 dunnes defence plus rogans return...but i get ur drift about it being tough 4 small hall promoters:good

Exactly, Nothing against peters but in the point that held approx 10,000 and cheapest ticket was €75 i think but ringside were €225 plus all the sponsers and so on..... and the fact the undercard had 3 or 4 amatuers who dont get paid....so that fight was well covered...
Hyland bill has 7 professional fights which is 14 guys to get purses and then fly them over and accomodate them, the B.U.I to get fees, I.B.F to get fees, officials and judges (both B.U.I & I.B.F) to get paid, and add in M.C, Arena costs and so on....
You really dont see the money adding up and the venue only holds 2,500 with tickets ranging from €40-€90 :nut

12 fights in 4 countries this year for me! :D

The opponents on the undercard may very well be sub par but to be honest it doesnt matter its still going to be a very interesting night

The Hyland brothers will put on a show

Eddie-Oisin is worth the admission alone imo

and my pal Jamie Power will entertain as usual!

I thought the quality of opponent on the Rogan/Sexton undercard was pretty good imo....

    I demand free VIP TICKETS!:yep
