    Floyd won the 1996 bronze medal and his decision loss was controversial.

    Coincidentally, in 1996 Pacquiao was busy getting KTFO by Rustico Torrecampo.

    I wonder where the better competition is, in the US amateur tournaments or in the Philippine flyweight pro circuit:lol:

    That theres a double standard when it comes to Pac and Floyd?


    Pac is so great he fought in the pro's at 16, he's a former flyweight fighting WWs!


    Floyd was in the same weight class at the same age fighting better competition but that's not added to his greatness.

    pac never had an amateur career to perfect his skills. he was thrown straight in with the lions. and won a world title. floyd had a golden boxing glove handed to him from birth. tell me which is more impressive.

    little early to mention pacman and robinson or armstrong in the same sentence but he beats Cotto not even Mayweather and he can start making claim

    Comparing amateur achievements to pro achievements (or vice versa) is just silly. They're two very different realms.
