    Adamek can be great for the heavyweight division because he brings another name into a shallow division. He has some competition in Arreola, Chambers, Haye, and Johnson. Adamek will be great lets see what he does at heavyweight I think hes great for the division

    Haye would be able to do damage when he swings from the floor? I don't think so.

    Adamek ain't getting KO'ed by haymakers. And don't tell me Haye will outbox him if it goes to the cards. Adamek would stop him late in the fight.

    I agree and feel that Cunningham being his mandatory has a lot to do with this move...

    The way I see it the rematch with Cunn is a very high risk & low reward fight:
    - Cunn seems to be improving under Naz, which - in light of how close the first fight was - does not bode well;
    - The Hopkins fight aside, Adamek has no good excuses not to fight Cunningham if he stays at CW (and risks getting stripped if he doesn't like the money that go with the fight);
    - If he stays and Cunn winns, Adamek might not get another chance soon, looses his title and most importantly the newly gained aura of invincibility (and potential money that go with it).

    So the move to HW actually seems quite sensible - particularly given the buzz Haye has managed to generate so far. Ok - the risks are huge but so are the rewards and at least if he looses he has a pretty good excuse... (which contrasts with a loss at CW where everyone would start yapping how overrated he was to begin with).

    I would love to see that fight happen...if Adamek is able to take Haye into the later rounds, who knows?

    true I think they just want another prominent heavyweight in the stable in this division it could happen but seeing another posters comments it needs to happen after fighting Cunningham but I agree with the poster above I dont think Adamek will end up the same way Golota did but looking at it from this perspective I dont think he should move up until after the fight with Cunningham win or lose so people cant say years from now that he ducked Cunningham

    Agreed.

    And I'm a bit baffled, because when I spoke to Adamek and his team, they stated HBO was interested in a January fight with Hopkins.

    So I figured he would beat Cunningham this fall in a rematch and then take on the legendary Hopkins.

    :-(
