he is young and is going the right way by fighting the best and other champions he isnt talking easy fights
It's too early to talk about that right now. But if he keeps winning against the competition he has been facing, we can bring this subject back up in a few years.
Well, he can, but let's not start sucking each others dick just yet. He may go down as the greatest JWW, but he still needs to prove himself for a few more years and become the Lineal champ for a few years than we can start talking about if he's an all-time great. Until then let's hold up on that talk.
As Scar was saying . . . he was taking the right path by fighting all the top fighters in the division but it's too early to talk about being an ATG.
What's this thread? Guys like Cotto have accomplished 10x more right now and will not be remembered as ATG..
Not tryin to **** on Cotto, but Cotto hasn't even taken a champions belt yet. Just all vacant belts...
He beat a well under par Witter, a solid lightweight Edner Cherry, and scraped by Kendall Holt, he has no wins that are putting him on a path to greatness He will get beat soon enough. Crap thread
dont judge a fighter nowadays by belts...judge them by who they fought and when and how they did. cotto has balls of steel and deserves all the big fights that come to him. EDIT... cotto epitomises what a true fighter is. he proved that when he took on a clottey fight that he didnt have to take...and we all know floyd would never have taken a backward step like that after getting himself into a higher pay bracket.
Lucky to get passed Holt??? Why cause Hoplt landed one good punch he's "lucky" to have won??? You ****in idiot.
And? Valero picked two non-vacant belts so he's better than Cotto? Who cares about belts nowadays, it's all corrupt nonsense... Look at his resume man..
