None. They're both from the same state (Texas), but different cities. Tony Sr. and his sons are from San Antonio. The former bantamweight champ is from Fort Worth. Ayala is quite a common name among Hispanics.
Yeah I know, I just figured with the geographic proximity and the fact that it could've made sense chronologically...I guess 20-30 years ago the sport wasn't as fringe as it's become, so it's not so big a coincidence as it might now seem.
