    Roy will NEVER fight Adamek.

But I agree with the spirit of your post, and would love to see Cunningham then Hopkins.

The wild card in all of this is Hopkins.

From what I heard, he definitely wants a fight in January. He wants Adamek or Dawson. Honestly (call me crazy), I think Dawson might be an easier fight for Hopkins, and size has a great deal to do with this.

That said...it really appears that Main Events is itching to turn him into a heavyweight, so I'm fearing that the news is true.

Damn, a lot of articles have appeared in polish net right now. Possible his next fight will be in Poland, they're going with Ziggy to Poland soon and then we can find out sth more.

Adamek also says that RJJ wants him too, so who knows. I agree with you when you're saying Dawson will be an easier opponent, cuz he might get under B-Hop's style, neither Adamek, but Pole has got the punch that can finish the bout, besides he's in his prime atm, so you never know.

    gonna sleep cheers, ;D

Ok, but I think it's safe to say right now that he would get beat down by any elite heavyweight fighter.

I think he's too small and would lack a lot of power at HW.

Ziggy has been vocal about the prospects of Adamek and Golota fighting in Poland.

I hope this doesn't really happen!

    Agreed on that.

Plus, something about Dawson's last fight really gave me the impression that Hopkins could beat him. Honestly, I think Hopkins can definitely beat Adamek, too. This is no give me for Adamek.

In fact, I might even make Hopkins a slight favorite.

FYI, I have heard that these rumors are bull****.

I heard from a reliable source that there are NO plans to abandon the cruiserweight division at this time and that Adamek camp intends to enter negotiations with USS Cunningham as soon as possible.

I don't like it. Adamek certainly has the workrate of a Heavyweight though.

There are some he can beat, but don't know how far he can go.

Even though I dont think that Valuev is half the fighter that Adamek is, he is huge!!! Just by laying on Adamek and making him carry his weight he would likely wear him down and ko him.

Even if Vitali steps aside soon which I agree is likely, the problem is just sheer size.

Plus, Wlad is still going to be dominate for another few years.

I just think it is stupid to move up to heavyweight and lose to a less caliber of fighter just because he is bigger than you....and for less money on the whole.

I have more confidence in Adamek then I EVER had in Golota.

I don't think Valuev have the speed to KO Adamek by laying
on him and making him to carry his weight :huh
He can't catch Adamek with that

Why not, Adamek could very well become a contender and earn some cash in the HW division. His chances to become a beltholder are not less than David Hayes, however, unlike Haye, I hope he will talk less and earn his shot at a title.
