    :lol::lol:

    I fear it would be a bore fest with Witter striking strange poses ala the Mora and Chop Chop Corley fight with his arm craned out wating the whole round to strike......

    Khan would probably make him look old just like Bradley did.

    Khan has a better style for beating kotelnik than Witter ever had. Witter likes to sit back which gave Kotelnik time to come out of his defence and do something. Khan was all over Kotelnik from the first bell and never give him the chance to come out of his defence.

    Witter scraped past Kotelnik because of his low work rate more than anything else. He won the first half of the fight and went into cruise control and let Kotelnik come out of his shell.

    Well Junior said before the fight he clearly thought Kotelnik would win so its a bit low if he is trying to play down Khans win. However I still think Junior would know too much for Khan at this stage of their career. I'm not sure Khans people would take that fight.

    If he fights anything approaching the same level of elite opposition Hatton has, he can happily "duck" every domestic nobody in Britain for all I care!

    Does anyone think Khan will continue to climb up the weights - and if so how far up the weights do you feel he can successfully go?

    Just to further, I think Witter would have an excellent chance of knocking out Khan. He has decent power, comes from unexpected angles and we all know about Khan's chin. He would, however, need to be aggressive and history tells us he isn't usually unless it's obvious he's in with a blatantly overmatched opponent. If not, Khan could outwork him from range with punches which aren;t too powerful but are technically well delivered.

    In summary, the fight is Witter's to lose. The trouble is, I wouldn't be especially surprised if he managed to do so!

    :goodIt is to be expected, though. This fight would be so awesome over here. It would be nice to see Junior topping an absolutely massive bill as well as he's earned it. Nice to see some hype is getting behind it already:yep.

    Let's not get ahead pf ourselves- he's far from a finished product. That said, forget the chin arguements (we've heard enough of those for a lifetime:nono), his frame is absolutely huge- even for 140. If he were to keep improving and 'that' problem gets better/ Dr Roach cures it then he's big enough for up to 154, IMO.:good

    Yeah theres no rush to move up I'm just thinking in the future of his career. I seen a photo of him next to Ricky Hatton a while back and he was much bigger and taller than Hatton. So I suspect he has got the frame to eventually end up at 154. :deal

    I used to like Witter but he seems more and more like the English 'Ken Buchanan' and he's not even got anything to be bitter about a'la Ken.
    He didn't do enough to force the Hatton fight, he should have chased Hatton's left overs and finished them better than Ricky did to try and prove points. His resume is far inferior to Hattons and when he won the belt (in good fashion may I add) he ****ing lost it to an average fighter. One or 2 more defensed might have out a lot more pressure on Hatton.

    Now 5 days ago, "Kotelnik is a world class fighter he's gonna knock Khan out" then when he's been proven wrong.............."Kotelnik is the weakest fighter at 140 i'll knock Khan out" blah blah. Witter is a chump IMO and whilst it would be boring as hell, due to Khan trying to avoid being tagged and Witter standing there with his arm out like a **** and waiting to counter, Khan would outwork him and with another few months in the wildcard probably embarass him

    Shut up Junior. That champ is so weak that he took you to your absolute limit.

    If Witter lands then Khan is gone but Witter is so sloppy that Khan could and should pot shot his head off.

    Most fighter got a punchers chance vs Khan but as time goes on that chance will become less and less. Witter is a tasteless guy, before saying Kotelnik would KO Khan, now after Khan schooled him he was a weak champ. Witter needs to focus on Aug 1st and not on a guy who is 13years younger than him.
