If Witter gets his belt back this is a good fight.

    :patsch

Do you realize that on a neutral ground Kotelnik would've got at least draw vs. Witter?

Oh wait, a better question. Did you know they've fought already, when Witter wasn't past his prime? Kotelnik UD12 Witter today.

Very interested to see what the response from Khan's camp will be in relation to the above?

I can't see them taking the Witter fight to be honest. Khan says he wants the big fights in USA, so I reckon we wil see Khan-Morales in September. That's just a ridiculous bout in my view & if it happens, its taking the **** out the general Boxing fan!

Witter is much more formidable opponent to Khan than Morales & Khan, Roach & Warren know it!

I find it a little strange Khan never won a title or even attempted to win a title at LW? Too deep a talent pool there?

Like to see this fight. Could be a good one. How will Witter deal with Khan's speed?

I agree. This could well be a great domestic fight. It all depends on if Witter gets his world title back or not though. If there is a world title on the line, Khan will be interested. If not, he'll be off to the states to fight somebody over there instead.

Witter has the power at LWW to give Khan serious problems.

He's awkward as hell and a good counter puncher. He definitely wont do what Kotelnik did and just chase Khan round the ring for 12 rounds telegraphing every punch.

Witter has the power to do a number on Khan, but Whiner's reflexes aren't nearly fast enough to get away with low swinging hands against Khan's speed. This would be a good fight. And Bradley, nowhere near a puncher or even that great, put Witter on his arse and beat him comfortably. Witter is just not that great.

Please. Show some objectivity. It is well documented that Witter's preparations for the Bradley fight was poor, having discovered that his father had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. No way any fighter is professional enough to cope with that news, and just be expected to perform at his best.
Believe it or not, i'm a fan of Hatton, Witter and Khan, and think at this moment in time Witter is the best of all three, and would comfortably handle Khan, stopping him early.
Don't think this fights happens anyway.

Come of it. It was a close fight, but Witter won by a couple of rounds. He just faded in the latter rounds.

I don't call that robbery, it was close. But i and many other boxing fans had Kotelnik winning, if some had Witter winning i don't mind.

Khan beats witter. He may even stop him imo. Witter will not be able to deal with the movement and speed, and he wont be turtle shelled up like Kotelnik, so will be getting hit alot more. Khan frustrates him to a UD or tko's him mid to late fight. I do enjoy watching witter fight though, exciting style.

Sounds like khan is the new hatton in witter's book, be ready for him to start whinging for a fight and probably not get it, and then the khan bashers to start the ducking threads... great.

Witter really gets on my nerves by having such a big mouth and talking down other succesful domestic boxers even though they are the only big fights he chases.

    He should say either:
khan/hatton did well - we should get a fight on to see who is the best
    or
khan/hatton did badly, i'm going to chase a better fight with campbell/holt/welters etc

instead he sounds like a bad competitor which may be why he has a small following.

Fair enough. It just that in the build up to Khan-Kotelnik, some (including Sky sports) were making it out to be the worst robbery in recent memory.
