Not saying Pac won't KO Cotto, but DLH would have gotten KO because he wasn't fighting back. You think Cotto will be weight drained too?

Oscar has a world class chin first of all. Second of all, he was on the defensive the entire time. Hands up just watching the punches coming in. It's the ones you can't see, ask Hatton. Manny never had a chance to counter Oscar because he wasn't throwing.

Pac is both quicker and more accurate with his punches than Margacheato and Mosley.

So you ignore Roachs' comments about Oscar not having it anymore, and being weight drained? :huh

nope, I think he will come in his best form. DLH not fighting back is not completely DLH's fault. Pac's gameplan had something to do with it.

Back to your question. I dont think Cotto will be weight drained, heck its only a pound lower when he weighed in his last fight! his trainer was even saying he had no trouble with the weight. The better question is, why is it that some posters think Cotto shouldn't risk his title this time?

You are really ignoramus! Oscar was not weight drained. Oscar waws already 147 two months before the fight so basically he can never be weight-drained. However, he surely have lost muscle mass by starving himself. That is the big difference because being "weight drained" involves losing body fluids not muscle mass. Weight drained fighters lose also their punch resistance which was not the case in that fight.

In a way that was a strategy to make him faster but he lost his strength also. Besides his fastest mode is nowhere as fast as Pac.

its easier when a guy is KO'd or quits on his knee. the chin becomes less resistant.

Funny thing was, a lot of people laughed at Roach when he said this. It was all part of the plan. Ofcourse DLH team had a plan of their own, i think they underestimated Pac and paid dearly for it.

If he will come weight -drained, it is entirely their fault. The fight is almost 4 months away meaning they have all the time to go down to 145. he was 146 in his last fight and the preparation time for that fight was shorter.

This is true, and some people tend to forget about this. DLH's team ****ed up. Thay were so concerned about retaining speed by being light, forgetting the fact that being bigger was their only advantage.

Cotto will not make it past the 9th round... whether his corner throws in the towel, Pacman knocks him the **** out, or he kneels a la Margarito. Cotto's stamina is horrrrriiiibbbleee!!!! Even Clottey could have knocked him out in the 9th or 10th if he hadn't tired himself out. Pac man is fit to go into the 15th round. No way Cotto makes it to the end on his feet.

Only way he can beat Pac is by KO, no way he makes it to or wins a decision.

I think you seriously need to check Roach's comments on Oscar my man...I'm not a Pacman hater by anymeans but Roach did call Osacar shot in so many words...Hell, Roach made a comment about Oscar when he trianed him for the Forbes fight. quote on quote: Oscar seems he cant pull the trigger anymore!
