Khan is one of the most protected fighters in the whole sport. He and Roach are going to take handpicking opponents to a whole new level. It will make what Roy Jones Jr. did look like child's play when it comes to cherry picking.

 

It's NOT old news. Khan went on TV in several interviews before the Kotelnik fight saying he was taking things slowly, knew he had lots more developing to do before he took on the big names like Marquez, Diaz etc. Indeed, he said that one of the primary reasons for moving up was to avoid having to choose between fighting guys at Lightweight he wasn't ready for and fighting tomato cans. Now, suddenly, he gets one victory against a paper champ and he thinks he can take on a P4P Mexican great? Gimme a ****ing break.

I didn't mind Khan for a while; he looked a bit more humble and sensible after the Prescott loss. But if he seriously wants this fight to get made, he's swiftly turning back into the first-class ******* he always was.

 

What's wrong with aiming high and setting goals?, at least he wants to fight the best. In the end its Warren/Roach who call the shots and picks his opponents.

When he was 8 he had a dream to become a world champion one day, guess what he is now.

 

Khan's not even close to being ready for the likes of JMM at this stage of both of their careers. Pac at his best barely squeaked by Dinamita. Khan should target Salita. :deal

and he's a really nice guy too, not a villain like Hopkins or Floyd, just a nice kid. the hate is really out of order


having said that, at this stage Dinamita would spark Khan pretty easily. its one thing shutting out a guy like Kotelnik, but Dinamita's another level altogether

 

JMM should be able to whip khan.
