after that shitstorm of hate that fell on pav right after the smw tourney was made...its clear that the reports of his death have been greatly exaggerated :yep

there are options for pav...like the list hermit (through jsimps) listed. i just can't wait for him to get going again. he should be plenty motivated

Okay Hermit -- ya got me goin'! If I understand you correctly, all of the guys on HBO's so called "short list" were ruled out. It's someone Kelly himself picked, and Jack Leow called it "BIG." I doubt if Jack would refer to Williams as a "big" fight. There is literally no one at 160 that would be a "big" fight. With the tourney going on, at 168 only Bute could be considered a "big" fight, and he is busy. So who the hell is it? Is it time to break the squirrel out of moth balls?

Jack said they have started doing running and will start some light gym stuff next week I think.

One of my 'sources' was doing the damned interview. I'm not anywhere close enough to get stuff that is that hush, hush. P2K trusted me more than these guys do. He told me about the second Abraham fight for Miranda before it was made public.

I thought Williams was fighting Oct. 3 with the Ukrainian? That might be why Pav got moved up a week or two.

 

A "big" fight can mean a lot of things. Especially coming from the fighter's team.

Could be Trinidad , Mayorga, etc... who knows.

 

I think Bute has a better chance in his second fight with Andrade because he know what NOT to do this time. Desperation fireworks at the end only work occasionally. Pavlik? No way to tell since we don't know who he is fighting. Sounded like we are a few days away from the announcement.
