Haye vs Barrett was what, ten years ago?

You do make a good point, though. He is doing alot of everything BUT fighting.

Even though I agree the Valuev fight is a good move, on Haye's part, its getting a bit tiring, waiting to see him fight.

His fights are like the perverbial dangling carrot, in front of the donkey.

I dont think the move was bad, I dont agree with how it was done (espn.com) not answering calls, text, emails. Its like dealing with a child:yep

If he unifies...GREAT... if he side steps...waste of time.

    10 years ago at least:lol:

worst thread ever seen on the GF.

**** Klits and their stranglehold over the heavyweight division. Haye got injured..... It happens. He wanted Vitali. Gimp brother 2 wouldn't have it. Gimp brother 1 had already decided he had a chance to get out of it by deciding not to fight 2 weeks later so Haye went for the next logical step.

Valuev should insist that a "no chickening out" clause be put in the contract.

Haye is doing the smart thing, going for an easy title that in the future could almost triple his purse against any of the KLits, and probably making a hefty sum against that bum Valuev in the process.

People can complain about it, cause Valuev is a big boring sack of **** that noone wants to see, but business-wise, it makes sense for Haye.

Instead of just cashing out on a nice payday, he is gonna make a smaller but still nice payday and then cash out on a massive, massive payday. Not to mention that he will have grown into the division and won't be so rusty.

Against Wlad, Haye at least had a chance. And even if he lost odds are he would have made it an interesting and competitive fight while it lasted. Who knows ,maybe a fight against a big guy with a conventional jab like Valuev is gonna help Haye get a little bit more ready for Wlad...

Against Vitali he would have been whitewashed and bannished to purgaroty along with Sam Peter and Juan Carlos Gomez

First he was going to get knocked out by Wladdy. Then he was going to get knocked out by Vitali. Now he is going to get knocked out by Valuev.

In the end, who cares? Its not like he is anybody's mandatory. He would actually have to beat someone for that.

I cannot believe that delusional fans are actually making all this fuss over someone who's best win was Monte Barret.

I don't know the demands the Klits were making, but I think Haye would be one of the few people who woud make me watch Valuev fight again  I just hope he gets to hold a title and try to unify them to bring some spark back to the HWD.

I'm taking notes on you guys who think VAluev will knock out Haye. My guess is that you will be exposed as the blind haters that you are.
