So who has got the worst ratio, biggest mouth but the least amount of balls. My vote goes to the most obvious candidate David Haye. There are others out there, but I don't think any can compare with this master - this absolute genius - of manufacturing disappointment.
Mundine is the only boxer I know who is in the same league as David Haye. His mouth may be even bigger than Haye's; but sadly (as I dont have much respect for Mundine) I think he actually has more balls than Haye does. And given what a notorious lack of sack Mundine has that is really saying something. So Haye wins by a small margin.
one would think that not even the dumbest haylords could manage to find a legitimate excuse for what this ***** did, especially since he did it twice now. but what do you know, ESB is full of threads started by people who are trying to disguise Haye's cowardice as some "smart move" or other such bull****. pathetic.
Not a bad choice. He's up there for consideration. But while he has balls the size of tic-tacs like Haye does, he may not be quite as over-accomplished in the mouth department. So I still got Haye as the winner.
Nah Mundine's worse because w/ all the **** he talks, all he could muster up was a vacated WBA SMW title. To make matters worse, he loses by KO (of all people) to Sven Ottke. He yaps his mouth about how he can beat Sturm and Pavlik and yet we get the great Shannan Taylor and Daniel Geale to show for it. At least Haye has an undisputed CW title to show for his accomplishments. Did I mention that Mundine fought Sam Soliman 3 times? Shows that boxing fans like to live under the rule of "what have you done for me lately" rather than "what have you done for your entire career".
Sure he lost to Ottke, but at least he got into the ring with the guy. The first step in showing balls is actually getting into the ring (are you listening Mr. Haye?). The second part is what you do once you step through those ropes. Getting into the ring against Ottke sounds simple, but for a guy with no amateur fights and only 10 pro fights its a bigger thing to do then it first looks like. I will agree that he is a textbook example of the kind of boxer I was thinking of when I made this thread.
Dunno what the major fuss is.....this is a good fight for Haye, sure would rather he fight Klits, but that is not happening. But he is fighting another belt holder which will give him options if he wins.
The guy who went to fight the linear cruiserweight champion and Don King Fighter Mormeck on a Don King card in his hometown has 'no balls'. Who would've thought it?
