Haye will have been out of the ring nearly a year if this latest proposal comes to fruition. He needs to take a fight, any fight. The trouble with fighting Valuev is that it will put him on the WBA circle jerk, and we know how tedious that is.

BAd bad fight for Haye it one i just cant see him winning.
I doubt he can KO Valulev - and he doesnt have the stamina or chin to outbox him for 12 hard rounds and Valulev does have a fair work rate and decent jab for someone his size -

The same people who said Haye should take a fight and stop talking are now saying he is a joke-upon signing to fight somebody:huh:huh

No offence but we all know Valuev lost to a beyond shot Holyfield, cant see Haye losing this unless its a robbery.

ive said all along that haye should fight valuev, with that height reach and weight its perfect prep for the klitschkos, plus valuev does'nt pop much so it should be quite entertaining watching dave punch this blokes head off.
david vs goliath, its a moneymaker, lets just hope theres no injurys in this one dave.

    Great fight for Haye!

Not only do Ithink he'l win by I think he can look good doing it.

Atleast this way nobody can say he has to 'earn' hios shot at the Klitschkos.

I'm surprised, but it makes a great deal of sense. I said that I didn't think Haye was ready for either Klitschko, that he had a lot of ring rust to shake off and that he simply hadn't fought the opponents that he needed to to prepare properly for them.

Valuev has a belt, is a more winnable fight for Haye, and is great preperation (if he wins, no chicken counting yet) for fighting a much larger opponent. The Klitschkos leave Valuev in the dust when it comes to skill but it'll still be valuable for Haye.

I think it works out better for Haye. And if he wins, for the whole heavyweight division.

If the terms for the Wlad and Vitali fights were really so bad, perhaps it might help Haye to shout about the details a bit. Plus he's already trying to wind them up anyway.

Im suprised at the negative reaction here.

Haye can win this fight, and look amazing doing it, they will probably put this on free to air in America and it will lead to a huge demand for Haye v Klitscho(either of them) and will also allow him a hell of a lot more room to negotiate.

As it stood if Haye had signed to fight Vitali it looks as thought his entire life was in the Kiltschos' hands.
