Have u seen that fight out of interest?
People keep saying that holyfield should have got the nod but i havent seen it and evan now i still say holy is possibly better conditiond and has a better chin than Haye i want Haye to win and KTF out of Valuev who is god awful to watch but its a big ask.

Actually reading the posts most people seen conviced that haye can win this fairly easily - msut just be me that has doubts

"I want to fight the best"
    "I will beat the Robots"
    "Wladimir is a bum"
    "Vitali is a bum"
"Look at my T-shirt, I am going to kill the Klitschko bums"

Then he actually gets the chance (even without deserving it) to fight both Klitschkos and backs out of both fights.

And you are surprised about the "negative reaction here"? :think

Its actually a good move to make from Haye to tkae this fight.

Klitcshkos are the best in the division and Haye was not ready to step up straight with them no matter what his ego says. But this is a good step up and a good fight where Haye has a better chance of winning. But its still a real test for Haye and here we will find if he can really cut it agaisnt the big boys. Also Haye if he wins then brings a WBA title to the table and if Haye manages to beat Valuev and do it in some style it cooks up the Haye V Klitschko fights to be even more interesting.

But like RobPalmer says above - its a big ask - this is not as tough as the Klithsko fights - but its still a real test for David Haye's heavyweight ability.

The deal offered to him was crap. Why should he just accept it, especially with setanta gone bust.

the more i think about this the more i think haye has made the best choice available, when haye beats valuez he has that title that the klits want so bad and it gives him much more rights on the negotiating table and it will obviously make the fight twice as big

Regardless of the money he got the opportunity to become HW-champion of the world without any serious HW-fight prior to that and then have the chance to earn REALLY BIGTIME. As Haye was so confident to easily beat both Klitschkos there should have been no problem...

I dont understand why Klitshko were such bitchs and wanted all these clauses.

Why could have Vitali just said - no strings attached fight - I get 80% of the purse - you get 20% of the purse

So if $10,000,000 was generated - Vitali gets $8,000,000 - Haye gets $2,000,000

its taking a very small bit of the sahre for Haye but I think he would still take it if he was guarented to net a seven figure sum

    whoever wins, wins

no rematch clauses - no I own options on your future fights - etc, etc

Good on Haye for not selling his soul to get the fight - Haye dont like to comprise himself - its why he never signed with Frank Warren

With the Klitschko's wanting a cut of it! Why the **** should he take that deal? He was right to tell them where to go like he should of the first time.

    Don King, Mandatories, Ruiz, Chagaev....

The more possible scenario is that he will (have to) hold the fake belt and fight shitty opposition for the next years...

Haye accepted it two times and then bitched out. Even with the contract and K2 as promoters he would have earned a shitload of money. The more likely scenario is that with the fights drawing near he realized that he would not beat them...

Haye has done exactly the right thing IMO, the only negative is that Pac v Cotto is the week after so the Haye fight may get overshadowed...and what if Sky are putting Pac v Cotto on SBO aswell not many people will pay for 2 fights in 2 weeks (but i would)
