ITS OFFICIAL: Klitschko's give worse terms than Don King

The Klitschko are killing heavyweight boxing.

 

Its ok for for undisputed champs in the lower weight classes to move up and fight for belts straight away, so what is the problem with former undisputed cruiserweight champion David Haye moving up to fight for a belt in the worst weight class of them all?

 

It was well-known that Setanta would be Haye's only form of payment for the fight with Wlad, Setanta go bust= no money for Haye.

 

what do you mean saying "better deal"? to get robbed is a better deal? Haye should win by stoppage for germans to give him a victory, and if in this fight there would be a KO I doubt Valuev is the one who'd be on the floor.
money? does he deserve it? he couldn't provide a place to fight in his own country, so.

wrong. for all these years only 1 fighter who complains about the Klitchokos is Haye, and how many Don King have robbed? dozens of decent fighters, including some living legends.

Hope Klitchkos will completely ignore this clown from now on. Sooner or later he'd be forced to fight some decent fighter and would be sent ito where he belonds - to his own gym where he would be able to fight his shadows the rest of his life

 

FACT: NOBODY exceptDavid Haye ever complained about a contract with the Klitschkos. Countless fighters complained about Don King and sued him.

FACT: Neither you nor anybody else here knows the exact terms on any of these contracts. These are legal, confidential documents. Unless you sat in on the negotiations, you only know little bits and pieces from someone who may not be the most objective person about the whole thing.

FACT: While Haye has one more fight than Arreola, Haye has only two fights at HW. Arreola had fewer problems with McCline than Haye had with Fragomeni.

FACT: The Klitschkos keep getting fights. Haye has fought once in 16 months.

Vitaly - 2 fights and third one to be settled after 5 years of retirement.
Wlad - 5 bouts during this period, including 1 unification and a fight for a Ring championship.
Haye - 1 fight against a beaten veteran and a year of bla-bla

Let me see... The Wlad-Haye bout was scheduled for June 20th, and it was JUNE 3RD the bout was officially cancelled due to injury... Now we have JULY 23RD and Mr. Haye is talking about being in negotiations about Vitali-Haye fight for THREE MONTHS ???

The negotiations for Wlad-Haye took ages. They did take a few months.l

 

Don King is no worse than Bob Arum, or even Golden Girl productions. Yeah Don King will get a big piece of the pie, but he's also a faster track to the big money fights. Fights you might not get until later in your career. King also finds ways of getting you several title shots ( John Ruiz) or even ones you don't deserve at the time (Ray Austin, Lamon Brewster). So working with king is a double edged sword at the end of the day. You will make bigger paychecks as well gain more opertunities for belts, but you will also find yourself getting a big piece taking out of the check as well.

I never heard something else from an opponent like Brock, Ibragimov, Austin, Rahman, Chagaev.

good point. but is it good in common? for fans, for boxing history, for divisions?
do you think we'll see unifying fights soon if there'are some long-term arrangements between DK and Haye?
