Not too sure about Khan being the fastest, but I was very impressed with the multiple jabs he was throwing.

Darni there is a clear difference between hand speed and power. Someone like Maidana/Bradley/Cotto/Pac Man would walk through those punches.

yes, they're fast and Khan has fair pop when he loads up! But he doesn't have them combined.

he fast but not the fastest. Mayweathers faster, Judah and Pac for sure r faster. BTW did ne onle else notice how padded those adidas gloves were? They seemed like winnings. Wonder if Khan has hand problems?

all flash with nothing behind it.

it would be nice if used that speed to actually connect.

He is fast but not fastest I think.
If he gets some more power would be more entertaining to watch.

Exactly. speed is pretty inconsequential without power; a better schooled boxer will walk through these things.

Khan needs to work on his upper body movement too because a few times Kotelnik had him covering up. A schooled body boxer or someone with fair power would have banked some seriously effectively shots under those circumstances.

I'm not knocking him; I made £1,000+ on him, but he has flaws that are there to be seen and taken advantage of by a better boxer than Kotelnik.

As I said before the plan for this fight was to win on points, Kotelnik has never been even KD let alone KO. In this fight Khan plan was use his speed and hit and move, and pace himself for 12 rounds so makes it even important Khan does not punch himself trying to KO a guy who never even been KD before.

Boxing smart is the key, Khan only been 12 rounds once before and needed to fight smart even so he had a great workrate and threw nearly 900 punches. You will see his power in future fights where he will fight fighters willing to come out of their guard, and not like Kotelnik.

Not trying to hate, but does anyone else he's not putting much behind those punches at all. Its just all quick arm punches, most of the time he doesnt seem to turn his body into his punches at all.

Of course we see what you see.The thought of getting KO'd is on his mind everytime he shoe shines. This is why he doesnt want to fully commit to a punch.
