If this fight goes on "free" HBO (as opposed to PPV) winner becomes a star. Very possible FOTY candidate too, based on styles and sheer amount of punching.

Man, if this comes off this'll be friggin' awesome.

he has a contract to fight sergio mora. They were supposed to fight this summer but pavlik got injured so they postponed the fight. His next oppenent should still be sergio mora maybe in September

Well -- JSimps and MikeyC have both been on this thread this morning, and trust me, they got the inside scoop. It's a middleweight fight, and even the critics will be happy. It's gotta be Williams --

He has no obligation to fight Mora. His next fight will be at 160.

My point good sir is that it would be the 3rd time a perceived fight with these two would be on the books/almost on the books/in discussion.

Seriously I'd have to see it to believe it at this point.

Don't say that. Don't type it. FFS don't even think it. This has potential to be a BADASS fight, one of about 3 that could possibly matter for KP--last thing we need is a jinx on it.

You got it brother -- Pavlik/Williams is Haglar/Hearns II: Not the same skill level, but just as excting. This would be a "don't ****in' blink!" type of fight.

Well Sergio Moron was on Friday Night Fights last Friday, and came out shouting about how both parties are contractually obligated to fight each-other NEXT. It's probably not true, but it remains a threat to Pavlik moving onto serious opponents.

Can i bum a ride?(lol) The PW fight makes sense, but if Kelly turned down a Unification fight with sturm, then AA comes to mind. Is the JT vs. AA in ink?

I was under the impression that the first 3 fights of the tournament are all signed.
