Allot of people forget that the aim is to KO the other guy therefore so what if Taylor was ahead on points he got KTFO and lost so end off. Good post man:good

Dirrell to have a few superb rounds then realise what its like to be in the ring with someone who will not give in. Froch by KO in latter rounds just before the HBO team declare Dirrell is about two rounds in front with movement and ring smarts. I dont like Froch personally, and in no way am I comparing him to my Idol Monzon, but he is the same in terms of if he is facing a boxer, note pure boxer, he will eventually grind him down and make Andre think what the **** is going on, I was leading this fight and now I'm on the deck.

ps. I have not seen the froch taylor fight yet, I know ridiculous - too much stuff in personal life, but too me, this is what will happen.

I just hope Andre if he loses doesnt fall into the trap of losing to a supposed 'lesser' fighter and fall by the way side, im mega impressed with him and think he will be a force in a few years.

Frochs underestimated, and always will be with the way he fights, but unless you have the stamina of a duran and craft of a textbook fighter nobody in that tournament is beating him except Kessler and Ward (I know alot of people wont like that last name but I have a feeling Ward will fix up the defects for the big ones, I really do, I like him)

Anyway, back to my lambert and butler and courvoiser

Froch has stamina but when your getting hit flush with clean bombs you can have all the stamina in the world but your not going to be taking those all night long and even if its an accumulation which in my opinion is more lasting damage, who's to say that Froch is going to be able to rally in the latter part of the fight like he normally does.

Look what happened to Margarito, he got the fight beaten out of him and he got stopped by Mosley and Margarito had the most iron will in boxing upto that point so your post doesn't make any sense unless you have seen Froch in his previous affair. He looked much slower than he used to be and he is not going to get any faster and he is not the busiest fighter either so he will be loosing rounds early and he will try to rally late but the accumulation of shots will take its toll...

Froch is an odd fighter. I dont think he's that slow - but he seems to plod around at half speed and throw lazy, messy punches, then suddenly he'll throw a few at a decent(not fast though) speed. Im sure there's a gameplan in there someone, I just dont think its a good one.

As for his power, i dont think its overrratered, but i do think his accuracy is shocking.

Froch seem's to have real trouble with anyone who can counter-punch half decently. Problem is, 9 times out of 10 he'll take the shot to get one of his own in, and hopefully get in close to go toe to toe. He will lose to the first person who can counter and MOVE out of the way.

I still think he'll beat dirrel though. He'll wait, then draw him into a slugfest and lights out.

    Two can play that game.

Alphonso Rocha floored Dirrell heavily and had him badly hurt (Dirrell even admitted as much afterwards).

Alphonso who I hear you say?

Alponso Rocha the Mexican journeyman with a 7-4-0 (4 KO's) record.

Only one of those 4 KO's came against a fighter with a winning record.

    WTKO1 Jesus Alvardo 0-1-0
    WTKO3 ****** Hardman 0-0-0
    WTKO3 Ivan Stovall 3-0-0
    WTKO3 Juan Carlos Parra 3-9-2

And Dirrell was also down against the murderous punching Anthony Hanshaw  (although, unlike the two bogus knockdowns Dirrell was credited with the referee missed the call).

Dirrell is going to literally **** his knickers when he feels Froch's power. Perhaps he'll put on his track shoes and try and steal a decision by stinking out the joint like he did against Curtis Stevens.

Do you not think there's a reason he did his best Usain Bolt impersonation in that fight? Maybe it's because he doesn't have confidence in his ability to take a shot on the chin, eh? :think

It wasnt a froch off night. He just fought a guy who was faster, stronger and a better boxer then he was. Taylor just didnt have the heart nor the stamina to finish. And Froch has a good chin.

However, Dirrell is bigger, faster and I believe the better boxer then Taylor. Froch would really have to pull something out of his hat to beat him. And I wouldnt rely on a 12th round knock out if I were you. Dirrell if he's ahead on a points will fight smart and stay away. Taylor is always infront of you.

Suffice to say. Pavlik beat Taylor more decisively then Froch did.

We've had about 10 polls on that. Only a very small minority gave it to Taylor. Tough fight to score. I watched it 3 times, and came up with 3 scores.

Dirrell can box and is one of the most skilled fighters i've seen going backwords. What he lacks is power and Froch has shown he has a world class chin, so saying that Dirrell will stop Froch is quit a stretch. If Dirrell wins, it will be UD as we seen with Taylor, you can outbox Froch. The problem is Taylor has a pretty good punch and that kept Froch somewhat honest in that fight, Dirrell doesn't. Froch is going to walk through Dirrell's punches and put allot of pressure on him that he has never had before. He better have some damn fine cardio, otherwise he is screwed.

Good analysis,we know Dirrell can box,we know he has fast hands,we know he has good footwork, but so have so many prospects before him,and they continued to show these skills until they stepped up in class, then most were found wanting. You highlighted the most important factor and that is that Taylor had enough pop to keep Froch thinking and somewhat cautious until the second half of the fight. If Dirrell cannot sting Froch enough to make him step back, then Froch will walk right through him.Contrary to popular belief,i am not a Froch fan,i'm more what you'd call a "cynical admirer" he has his faults, but his awkwardness, stamina, power and HEART,overcome some of his faults. Its very easy to look good against mediocre opposition, but lets wait and see how good Dirrell looks against a man who wants to behead him.As i've said from the start,Dirrell is likely to start fast and have some early success, but i believe Froch will find a ***** in his armour, and once he does he will grind him down and knock him out. Some fighters lose heart after being peppered with jabs for round after round,Froch will not.If Dirrell beats Froch you can be certain i'll be the first to hold my hands up and give him his props, but i dont believe he's ready for this sort of fight at this stage of his career.
I think Froch will start to walk Dirrell down around the 5th or 6th,if Dirrell runs he may make the final bell,if he choose's to man it out with Froch he wont make the championship rounds.

Andre Dirrell is about 4 inches taller then Jeff Lacy with a longer reach, and fights south paw. And is far more dynamic.

Froch is not near the fighter then Calzaghe. Although unlike Calzaghe he isnt afraid to fight top comp.

Says the guy who has Pavlic beating Froch.:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Therefore what ever you say counts as ****.

Froch would KO Pavlic so bad that by the time he woke up his clothes would be out of fashion.
