He absolutely fights by instinct. That's what makes him so exceptional because he flows through style to style so freely. Watch him fight Nogueira or Herring. You can see him doing striking than he finds himself in position for a takedown and just does it, and it looks ever so smooth. Most people have to "set it up" he just goes with the flow.
i love it too. brock did it with mir also, but he won, very unfortunate. i would've been happy to see him tap after pulling that stunt
yea i saw fedor and big nog last fight. He basically dominated noguiera in every way. Fedor destroys couture if they ever fight. Skills wise fedor is way above couture. Couture might be a better wrestler but fedor has fought the best wrestlers out there and dominated pretty much all of them.
Well beating the Randlemans and Colemans are different then Couture. Couture will get the takedown in a clinch im sure of that and his submission defense has grown good enough to where he can buy the time he needs to land good short elbows and cut up Fedors razor thin skin. Thats Randys only chance but its very possible probablly one of the most likely people to beat Fedor on that reason alone. Pretty crazy Fedor is so good we look for people to cut him to get a win.
If Kenny weighed 220 he would be the perfect opponet hes a very well rounded fighter and has the one weapon Fedor has shown weakness agianst and thats the cut opener. Man I wish there was someone really out there to challenge Fedor 2 years ago I said 3 guys could give him trouble Barnett(he ****ed that fight up forever),Arlovski(did ok but stopped cold),Couture(46 probablly wont see that fight). The guys left for him whoever comes clear in this UFC Heavyweight title picture of Brock,Velasquez and Carwin and whoever he gets in this little Affliction thing Belfort,Lashley and Rodgers. :-( Sad stuff the most accomplished fighter there is a Middleweight.
true couture is a better wrestler than those two. Couture only chance is to take him down and ground and pound his azz but fedor is too good to be held down on the ground for that long. Sooner or later he'll get back on his feet or get on top of couture and finished him.
