A recent favourite record padding of mine... when Vaughn Bean fought Moorer for the HW title, he was 27-0, have fought 3 (!!) guys with winning records (and they were 7-6-1, 7-4 and 5-3-1). Turned out to be a pr7etty serviceable HW, but man, did he fight ALOT of bums. http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=4777&cat=boxer
First of all, I'm not a fan of Mayweather in any way but to call his opponents nobodies is going real far. Would you think Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, and Carlos Baldomir are nobodies? I think this question is referring to fighters who have fought nobodies.
Valero..are you absolutely sure the guy he just fought that had a 46(40)-3 record was not deceptively worse than his figures suggested?
the guy he just fought was ok but really never strayed outside his comfort zone except to bust up santa cruz (which stunned me considering he's 39 years old). not a world beater though
Without a doubt, the dude down the street of me David Rodriguez. He's like 31-0 29 KO's he's like 31 years old and a Heavyweight.
Yeep! 25 (25) - 0. An over rated boxer with good power but no defense, who fights C-class boxers to build his record. Have you seen the quality of his opponent? Mosquera is probably the only one worth mentioning and not everyone considers Mosquera as a top boxer. If he fights Marquez or JDiaz (before he was defeated) will out box him. Marquez will not just out box him; he will put him down~! Same goes with Pacquiao, Pacquiao will obliterate Valero and put him in a coma! :bbb:bbb:bbb
I gotta say Chavez Jr. This guy is the most protected boxer in the world. Yet, because people buy his PPV, he continues to rack up wins against nobodies. I bet you a million bucks that he will never fight an "elite" fighter. If he does, that money train derails and a lot of people will be pissed off.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. - 39-0 but basically is a nobody. If it wasn't for his famous father, nobody would know who he is.
I've got the mack-daddy for ya in this category. Sean O'Grady was 29-0 and had a KO ratio over 90% when his father made the mistake of putting him in with what most people thought was a shot Danny "Little Red" Lopez. 4 rounds later the O'Grady express was in the ditch, and Little Red was back on the map!
haha, damn right he was. then o'grady went up against andy gannigan and again got his ass handed to him. hell of a nice guy, good commentator but when your dad has to make up a title belt and organization for you cause you can't win one on your own, it's time to call it a day
