Not going to lie, I use to really dislike him when he called out Calzaghe every minute of the ****in day, but since calming down and the Taylor fight, he's really grown on me! Can't wait to see him in action and wish him all the best in the Super Six.

I think his limitations have been exposed in his last coupla fights, even though he was in good comp. I think he'll struggle getting through the super six, nice to see him get through round 1 though.

Yep, he has grown on me also. I was wanting Reid to knock him out in their fight, yet since that I have been a fan due to his war with Pascal and come from behind victory against Taylor.

Right back near the start of his career when I was watching him fight, he wasn't actually a big talker. I still don't think he really is either, at heart.

But he felt early on that he'd need to promote himself and call out others to get somewhere, so be became much more gregarious. And hey, it's worked.

    Changing the subject, slightly...

He looked VERY pissed off at Cleverly's fans on Saturday when they were chanting that he was a wanker.

Froch is what boxing should be about and he has his limitations but he also has something that a lot of fighters don't have and that's why he is a world champion and a good one at that.

I've liked his attitude for a long time and saw nothing wrong with calling out Joe

He has proven that he would have been a worthy opponent and VITALLY he has made his own way without Joe, unlike Witter who is now focussing on Khan, yet again forgetting to concentrate on his own affairs

agree with OP, hated all the calzaghe ****. I think was before the pascal fight he was on BBH said he's gave up on joe and is not interested in the 'Warren boxing orginisation belt' i loved this line and since then he's continued to go up in my estimations. I hope he does himself proud in the SMW tourney

He will brually KTFO soon because I saw it in his last fight, relying on the chin to get him through. That will fail him eventually.

I have never been a fan because he lacks basic skills and relies on his chin and his craft to fool the judges. When that chin runs out he gets taken to town and KTFO, and that time is soon.

I like him as a person, he's very sharp and a warrior.

As a fighter he's awful to look at, loose limbs all over the place, moves with the grace of an oil tanker.

yeah grown on me over the last couple of years

    I'm a fan - behind him now

Seems like a sound guy - who just believes in himself and was calling Cazalghe out just because he is the top challenge

    whats wrong with that?

    Fool the judges...?

Not really known for his controversial point decisions, Carl...
