:yikes he was offered it when kotelnik pulled out with the tooth infection, he said it on the boxing hour

i'm almost sure this fight will happen know, why would they take witter with no title on the line, roach must be very confident of a khan win

I'd love to see Khan vs witter in a WBC/WBA unification fight in this country (assuming Witter wins of course) that would be a good fight to have in this country before he left to fight in America.... even though I personally see Khan failing when he steps up to welterweight.... that's where all the really big fights are.

it'll definitely happen especially seeing those shitty ppv numbers because khan needs a dance partner to get good figures, witter sounded really confident it would happen

i think people might be slightly overlooking Alexander this will be a tough fight for witter i'm sure with that khan carrot in front of him he'll be focused

there's big fights for khan at light welter the division is stacked, no need to go to welterweight atm

Your right there is no need to go to welter but Khan is a very ambitious lad, so before too long I reckon he'll get what he wants, as he as already stated he wants to move up divisions and fight the best ou there.

short notice and money...can't blame him really after what happened against judah, anyway it'll be a bigger fight if witter wins that WBC strap and then its a unification

Too right - get that WBC title and I might even be interested in the PPV. Mind you I can't see the fight being any good. Sure there would be some cannon fodder to watch before the main event.

he fought judah in similar circumstances (short notice) back when judah was being compared to sweet pea, he lost and it hurt his career

i didn't mean he was offered a fight with judah

Me too...but to get the decision I think he will have to either knock Alexander out or make it so clear that even king would blush at a robbery

A bit of a cautionry note...Witter was interviewed on Look North this evening and he looked quite pinched, which at this stage of his prep isn't a good sign with him...I hope to **** he isn't struggling with weight
