Right now, it's Jones for me, but not by much.

A win over Cotto puts the Pacman out of sight.

    Pacquiao.

If you look beyond Jones' unique style, some unprecedented wins and many titles and look deep into the resume, you'll find just a few top elite fighters he faced in their prime (Toney, Griffin, Hill, Calzaghe) some were green (Hopkins), others were past it (Tito) or simply not THAT good (Ruiz, Tarver, Johnson). Notice that Jones suffered several losses to these names, maybe "over the hill", but this is another point. Roy so heavily relied on natural talent and physical abilities (speed, reflexes, mobility), than when they started to fade just a bit, all the flashy Roy style collapsed and he simply didn't have the skill level in the arsenal to adjust his game like Hopkins 40+.

Throughout his run Roy faced great ATG opposition, no doubt, but also avoided fighters and often played the handpicker's game. Pacquiao's resume is just more solid and you really can't make a list of ducked fighters. Sasakul (lineal champion), Ledwaba, Barrera, Morales (past it), Marquez, Larios (past it), DLH (shot), Hatton now Cotto, and he only suffered a close loss (avanged) and had 2 debated fights (JMM), it's just a much better run than Roy's.

definitely Pac. Jones early career wins were great with Hop and Toney then he was fighting much weaker opposition for the better half of his career. Pac has had close to ten years now of fighting top p4p guys.

Jones relied a lot more on raw talent. When that natural ability started to slip with age his ability in the ring fell off dramatically. Pac on the other hand has show the ability to perfect his craft and has morphed from a one punch southpaw to one of the most well rounded fighters I have ever seen.

Jones best of 90's? Over Sweat Pea???.. But I'd take Pac, brilliant resume and is always fighting out of his comfort zone, moving up class after class whooping bigger fighters

Plus I love the way he keeps on improving

Pac ranks over Jones Jr., IMO.
