Fastest handspeed in boxing Video highlights, Khan vs Kotelnik

Does it mean that someone is running just because the less shots are getting through due to an opponent who is known to fight defensively and have a solid guard? If Kotelnik had a poor defence and Khan had landed 50% of those shots would that make you think that he wasn't running? I don't think many people would claim that he was then and I don't think it is fair to judge him based on that. Kotelnik wanted Khan to throw more looping shots so that he might land a shot like Prescott but Khan and Roach knew that he would win the fight by keeping them straight. Sometimes you have to win ugly.

 

typical nuthugger. i saw what you all were blowing up as the next great thing and gave you an analysis on why i don't think it's all that great. what's the big deal? i'm no khan hater, i think he's got a lot of talent. i just see a lot of flaws in his game and i'm not uber impressed with him like all you "khandoms" are. get off his dick, he hasn't proven **** yet. when he has, i'll be just as impressed as you.

 

khan can punch this just wasnt a fight where a ko punch was needed. the flashy combinations got his man covering up. alot hit shoulder and leather but he used it to keep his man locked in his own defence. also notice how kotelniks workrate dropped.



bhop showed great handspeed against pavlik but very little pop.


good performance by khan but still...pretty predictable. bradley woudl of walked through it and got to him...and we dont know how that would of turned out.

It's not ******ed to point that out in general but in regards to what the whole thread is about..it is definitely irrelevant. It's not the fact that Khan can't stand and trade, it's why would he want to trade when his plan A was working. Remember they also had a plan B which would have been implemented if plan A was failing. Hit and run was the safest strategy for Khan to beat Kotelnik. In regards to how he's going to handle other fighters, your assuming he's always going to have the same strategy which is not certainly the case. Khan style still has glimpses of his amatuer days but every fight im seeing improvements and with a world title around his waist i don't think im the only one.

 

He has proven something, he's a world champion which majority of ESB members doubted. He has got flaws in his game but like i said before he's improving every fight.

 

he's a solid "B" fighter but lets not get crazy people

 

He has fast hands indeed, but lacks power and angle to his shots unlike pac, that's why more of khan's fast flurries were blocked by koletnik..

 

I don't see what the big deal is :/
