well haye better hope he gets a shot at the WBA belt, because unless he is a mand, the Klitschko who have all the rest of the belts (IBO, IBF, WBO, WBC) will NEVER deal with him again. so if Haye wants to be Champion its the WBA or NOTHING

Ruiz will be paid to step aside. As much as we do not want to see Ruiz/Valuev again, the marketability of Haye/Valuev will make the fight happen probably. If not then Haye has no title to fight for. Sort of funny in a way given that he has played games with contracts and scheduling fights. He might have scheduled himself out of a title. I do like David and think he has a good right hand. but he has played a bit of a game this year with scheduling fights. I do hope he wins a title. but if he does don't expect him to fight the tough competition. He will do this kind of musical titles for his whole reign since he knows his chin cannot take a big heavyweights punch.

I agree. Or unless he makes himself really marketable.

It's OK . . . looks like paying Ruiz is not gonna work because Chagaev has still a legal claim at the title too. :D

    It's mixed up.

If Ruiz steps aside, dont be shocked if tean Chagaev comes screaming since that mess about who is champion has not been settled. in actuality, Haye is #3 in line,

#1 Chagaev to settle champion mess
    #2 Ruiz.. WBA Mand
    #3 Haye

good luck. Thats a lot of guys to make step aside. I dont thin k Haye will get the payday he so badly wants and thinks he deserves

You mean politics like backing out of 2 fights with the 2 best fighters and belt holders in the division?

Indeed. The idea that this fraudulent cheater can kill the Haye fight and get yet another undeserved title shot is just outrageous.

Ruiz kills boxing inside the ring and outside it. He is the poster child for boxing corruption!

Maybe with Ruiz, but not with Chagaev. This whole mess will end up in court and maybe Haye will fight in 2010:yep

Don't forget there's Kali Meehan also, he's been rated #1 for quite some time and actually deserves his shot. Valuev opted not to fight him when he skirted Chagaev.

That puts Haye at #4. Get in the friggin' line!
