I don't know, I think it is probably a good move on Hayes part. Taking a little less money now for a potential bigger return later. Seems like smart economics. We don't know what he was offered for the prev fights. That is correct but if he holds another belt i would think that would give a little more clout to pull in some more money. I don't think it is fear that is leading him down this route. Just good sense.

So now there is word that the Valuev fight is not going to happen. What now for Haye? Who else can he run his mouth to and not fight? Maybe he should get into a slop talking contest with James Toney. That would be priceless.

I have no doubt that he is trying to make the most money, but he is especially doing it BEFORE he loses. He knows when he loses his HW career is over only because of his mouth. WK and VK will beat him and I think he knows it.

Chef, do you think they will ever give him a shot again? I would not blame them if they didnt. The guy is a child and Booth is a complete moron.

You know, I did not think Haye deserved the shot at either K brother, but after a while of hearing his antics I wanted to see either fight to shut his mouth. Now that he has run off from both fights, I think he should build his resume and deserve a shot first. So in that case, he should be ready in what about 2 years, if he does not get ko'd? If he was hurt against WK, then fine but there is no excuse for the backuot against VK oher than being scared or confident of a loss.

NO WAY. That ship has sailed. Haye painted himself into a corner. Booth and Haye are rookies and it is showing. Even if Ruiz takes step-aside cash, Chagaev will come in claiming he is champion. Haye is ****ed. He will have to go out and fight his way to a mand. The Klitschkos are very much about honor and respect. No way they give him a chance

I wanted the fight just to shut Haye, booth and the Haye fans up. But Haye and B ooth have done a much better job of making themselves look bad. Much better then being KO'd could have ever looked:yep

It seems like we should be pretty excited about the possibility of seeing Haye vs Valuev. A reall quality fight.

Dont forget that Valuev is a ferocious puncher. So, Haye is really taking a dangerous fight for him.

Glad to hear it. Do me a favor and if u speak to them, let them know that true fans of the sport appreciate it. For some reason it has become "cool" to act like an animal or asshat and be disrespectful as a fighter. I started watching the K's fight around 2000 and have not stopped. They are not perfect as none of us are, but they are good for the sport in my opinion. Being world-class athletes is just an added bonus. Being a good ambassador of the sport is something to be proud of. Haye and guys like him will never understand something like that. I hope Haye finds himself it at least 4-5 tough HW fights before he can even sniff any belts. Thats what he deserves and then some.

maybe Don King can work his magic. If not, Haye is ****ED right out of a title shot. Walked away from 2 and got squeezed out of the 3rd:yep
