Can someone please explain how this makes Pac unqualified for a fight with Floyd? This has to be the lamest excuse yet from Floyd. How does Pacquiao giving up 27% to Arum effect Floyd in any way?

"Pacquiao is not his own Boss," said Mayweather Jr., adding: "And he is giving up 27% of his money to Bob Arum, so he's not even his own boss. Once he becomes his own boss, then we can talk. If he's not his own boss, then I ain't got nothing to say to him.

Its a lame excuse but Mayweather has a dislike for Bob Arum. Im pretty sure Mayweather filed a lawsuit against Arum. I'd have to google it.

I understand he and Arum have a dislike for one another, but what does Pac giving up that percentage to Arum have to do with Floyd? Even if Pac had to give up 50% to Arum, why should Floyd care?

Dont you think that beating Arum's cash cow would be a bigger slap in the face to Arum, rather than just avoiding Pac? Pac has already said that he'll love to fight Floyd. Its Floyd who's coming up with all the lame excuses and purse demands.

    Floyds aexcuses are boring.

Iuts blatant that he is only fighting JMM to beat him more convincingly than Pac did. Pac mugged him off when he KOd both DLH and Hatton and he knows it!

Floyd's really angry at Bob. Can Bob take a vacation for a year so that Floyd can see that there's a Pacquiao fight to be made?

Regardless Pacquiao is in a bad deal with Arum. PBF is right about that.

That's besides the point though. If Pac isnt complaining, why should Floyd?

Oh, I agree that that is not a valid excuse to stop the fight from happening but Manny is popular enough now to be is own boss. I had no idea he was giving up 27% to Arum. That is A LOT of cash considering how much money he is generating now.

Pac isnt as obsessed with money as Floyd is. Pac lives like a god in the Philippines, and although he is surrendering 27% of his purses to Arum he is still FILTHY RICH considering the exchange rate from U.S to Philippine currency. Lets not forget his endorsement deals.

It won't affect Floyd's Money flow...................just another excuse, he should be worry about ripped JMM not PAC's money issues.

Pacquiao is quite the stickler in negotiations, fighting for every percent. I wouldn't say he doesn't care as much for the money.

From what i've read, it's actually his advisors and lawyers that make all the fuss.
