They are? There certainly not drawing big tv viewing audiences in America, I believe Vitali/Williams is still the record holder for lowest PPV views for a heavyweight title fight. I'm not saying Haye is a global star yet, but he does have attributes to become that in the future.

Funny how Haye said "8-10 weeks before I can work out" that would have made August 14th, The guy stated he was working out again in MID JULY. Wow. Thats an AMAZING recovery since Booth told team Klitschko the "David can hardly move at this point"

Why should anyone believe 1 word this guy says

Multiple countries but you clearly do not identify or mention the USA. Because ...

    NEWSFLASH

The Klits are basically UNKNOWN in the USA. No one here could name the heavyweight champ at this moment. The Klits have made ZERO impression upon US sport fans. I wouldn't be questioning Haye's anonymity in light of the dismal impact the two Ukrainians have made to date. The Klits NEED a Haye. They need to demonstrate the ability to fight ANYONE with a MODICUM of talent and win impressively. You need to get off their jocks and start using your diminutive brain for something other than riding David Haye. Wake up doofus.

I disagree, it's called hyping a fight. Do you really think Lewis/Tyson would of broke PPV records if Tyson acted like the Klitschko brothers, giving the gay thumbs up and giving the "V" for victory for the cameras? Haye's mouth helped him get a title shot right out the gate, without even fighting one top ten Heavyweight. All 3 title holders want to fight him, he's a popular fighter.

This is ridiculous for two reasons:

    1) Common sense. Do you genuinely, and I mean genuinely, think that only 5 people out of 60,000 refunded their tickets when the Haye fight was cancelled? Let's say that 5,000 people from the UK were going (a good assumption I'd say). Using this assumption, only 99.9% of Brits were still happy to go over to Germany to watch to foreigners fight - albeit for the heavyweight title.

    2) In spite of all of the above, I know it's not true as I got 7 tickets refunded myself :). Not one person more. My arse.

I refuse to indulge your sick needs... i know your impotence means you can't have children and the whole time you are ****ing your Klitschko posters you're not likely to have children but asking grown men to call you Daddy is just sad :hi:

I think you'll find he's got a title shot :good

So lets assume he wins (even though I favour Wlad). Would the financial terms still be the same?? If so **** NO. HW champ defending his title for another 400k? With the WBA belt round his waste he'll be in a great position to dictate future purse cuts etc and the ppv's from the UK alone will be a shitload more cash than the combined 4 fight deal.

    Smart move IMO.

I dont hate the guy, I just dont like how he has the HW division held up. Wlad lost a fight in mid march because of dealing with Haye, Wlad almost lost another date on June 20.. Vitali lost sept and now scrmbles to get Arreola in Oct/Nov... and I promise you, Valuev wont happen and everyone will end up in court and we wont get a WBA title fight this year. This is NOT good for boxing IMO

Folks, I don't hate David Haye. I think he's an exciting boxer. But let's stick with the facts.

    1. Adam Booth in his negotiations always insisted that all they want are the UK PPV revenues. They thought Haye is such a huge pull in the UK that a PPV @ 15 quid per view would generate 2-3m pounds.
    2. Haye then saw Khan - Kotelnik completely bomb at the box office.
    3. Suddenly he realized he won't make any money because people in the UK are losing their jobs and won't be paying to see a box fight when they can't pay their rent.
    4. Haye cancels the fight, calls the contract unfair and signs with Sauerland/Don King who offer him a share of the WORLDWIDE TV Rights.

That's the story, plain and simple. Like it or not, but Haye should be a tad more professional and truthful rather than blaming things on the Klitschkos. I believe much of this is caused by Haye's manager, Adam Booth who appears to be amateurish and not very knowledgeable regarding revenues of PPV fights in the current economic depression we're in.

The 1st fight was what he would have made from Sentanta. the rematch was a higher 5 of the total pot and if it got to Vitali for unification it was 50-50. See Haye doesnt give all the details. And good luck with a fight happening with Valuev
    NEW NEWS:
Wlad told me this morning that the contract was made through haye ans Sourland (sp?) and that Don King didnt know, The Klitschkos called DK) and that DK is PISSED because he was setting up Ruiz Valuev. Like I said CLUSTER ****..

PS. GBP is pissed as well because Haye signed without consulting them also. Way to go DAVID:yep:yep:yep:yep

GBP are Haye's US promoters. He did the Barrett fight without them as well. Haye-Valuev is in Europe so it doesn't really have much to do with GBP.
