had landed the almost same amount in 2 rounds that he did in the whole floyd fight. The hatton fight was one his best defensive performances. your a ****ing idiot

its called a philly shell and its not the only defense in the world. So it doesn't matter that Toney and PBF execute it better than BHop... Overall BHop's defense is a level above both

A level above Floyd's?:bloodBased on what?

Floyd's defense is cleaner, almost as versatile (he can put in a bit of dirty work too) plus it works more fluidly with his offense.

Exactly, Whitaker and Pep just had incredible head movement they didn't really cover up that well though.

B-Hops defense is definitly at a level above Toney's but I don't think you can say it's above Floyd's. It's hard to say who's defense is better between B-Hop and Floyd but for me they're the best two defensive fighters of all time.

Locche is the best form me...along with Pea and Pep.

I'd say Floyd is the best since Pea though!!

I disagree. I would give Pea the slight edge but it's not by a large distance. PBF is the best fighter of his era and so was Pea. Both are two of the best defensive fighters of all time on a short list with others like Pep.

Of this era, Hopkins and Toney have better defences than Mayweather. Floyd is the next level down, alongside Winky. And Pernell Whitaker tops them all.

Floyd has a great defence, but through his career he has been hit more and hit more cleanly than B-Hop has IMO. Hopkins (due to age) and Toney (due to a lack of mobility) don't have the athleticism of Floyd to get out of tight spots. Those two, particularly Toney, can fight at close quarters and never get caught cleanly or often.
