Ring Magazine has Paul Williams #3 at 160, and #10 P4P. Williams is the only middleweight in Ring's top 10 P4P. At this time last year Kelly was #7. I beleive that KP wants his status back, and he wants a good pay day.

I think we should also consider the fact over the past 2 1/2 years Pavlik has only "picked" one opponent. Zertuche was supposed to be a title eliminator. Miranda was a title eliminator. Jermain was the undisputed, undefeated, middleweight champion of the world. The rematch with JT was built into the orignial contract. Lockett and Rubio were both mandatories. The only time Kelly had an optional fight he fought Bernard Hopkins, Ring Magazine P4P #4 at the time, and the #2 LHW in the world at that time. KP PICKED this next opponent. It has to be Williams.

That would be suicide, and a Pavlik win would be pretty empty.

every path i look down points right to williams as well. i just can't see it being anyone else. i don't see another 160 fight that anyone, loew included, would consider "big"

The Queensbury-Rules.Com reported this morning that the two camps started talking again after Arum shot down Goosen's 50/50 offer.

Anybody in Ring's top 10 at 160 gets tortured, beat up, and knocked the **** out.

a healthy, motivated pav will **** pound the **** outta anyone at mw. but i would think goosen would realize that even a 60/40 fight w/ pav would be a bigger payday for pwilly than they would get anywhere else?? where would goosen go? ssm and pbf aint fightin him and cotto is tied up w/ pac so no ww fight will...no money bigger than pav at jmw and no money bigger than pav at mw. 60/40 for pav is pwilly's biggest payday

How sure are we that this is true? Is this one of your sources, or another rumor of the kind "Pavlik is in rehab!!!111111"

According to our "sources" KP picked his next opponent. The 4 man list HBO presented was not that great. Plus Sturm said he wanted some time off even before the Gevor fight, and then he took considerable damage in that fight. Balzsay has an August date with Stieglitz, so that wasn't realistic. That left Winky who just got his ass kicked by Williams, and Martinez who is a light-middle. The word is Kelly said "Nope." Get me So and So. Their are posters here on this very thread who know who it is, but they ain't givin' it up.

Damn straight, and the sweet thing is that if the total dollar amount is right, issues over the split probably dissapear.

Loew stated this during his local radio interview.
