Well if you look at the first 3 rounds as you did with the first 6 against Margo, then you'll see Cotto adapted very well with his jab and timing. Waiting patiently to counter Clottey's counters. Hence the 1st round KD. He timed Clottey perfectly and BAM! right in the ****in' nose of Clottey that sat his ass down REAL quick.

you make some good points here... only i don't think you're giving manny enough credit. i'm a big cotto fan and even i'm having some doubts about cotto being able to win this one mainly because of manny's footwork/movement, speed, and stamina. if cotto can pressure the hell out of pac and get off first, i think he wins. the question is, will he come in with the right gameplan and execute it properly?

You are absolutely right.. Cotto has every advantage here and should not lose to the smaller fighter.

You guys might want to give up on this "size" talk already. DLH is a far better, more experienced and more skilled fighter than Cotto and we saw what happened to him. Yeah, I know you're going to say he was drained to oblivion and all that nonsense, makes it sound like DLH went in on a wheelchair. DLH was fine, the weight might have been wrong for him at that age but it wasn't weight that saw him confused and not able to land anything. It was Pacquiao's gameplan, he kept turning DLH over and over, DLH couldn't handle his speed either, Pac would jump in with one or two EXTREMELY fast shots and instantly move out. Pac just didn't allow DLH to set his self up to land anything and was killing him with shots he can't see coming due to speed.

Then the Hatton fight comes and people bring up "size", we saw what happened in that one and now people are trying to discredit that too with bull**** excuses like they will for Cotto if he loses.

If you have no defense going against the P4P#1 fighter then you're better off fighting someone else. Pacquiao can be aggressive, he can play defense and box, he can counter punch and so on. Basically Pac can do whatever he wants in the ring, he's not P4P#1 by donation, he earned that spot for a reason.

Again I repeat and will do so many times, if predictable one dimensional zombie slow no skill tomato can quality Margarito was able to land in combinations then expect FAR worse from Pacquiao who has A class proven stamina, speed and power. I know Margarito's gloves were loaded with concrete, my point is he was able to land these punches because of Cott's poor defense not because of the concrete.

Torres landed on Cotto, Maussa, Abdulaev, Mosley, Judah, Corley and many others. If Judah hurt him so bad in round one then ran out of gas in round 2 then exect worse from Pac. Judah is a poor man's Pacquiao.

seriously, if you think pac's skills are overrated, you are also dragging jmm's skill with it since pac have fought him evenly and even slightly edges him officially. you cannot say pac is overrated but jmm's skills are the real deal, mexican.
