Decent tussle if it happens. Pavlik should win late after a few difficult early rounds.

 

When loew stated pavlik's next opponent would be "big", I was almost adamant that it would be Williams-hopefully its true and we can hear an official announcement.

 

That would be awesome if true.

 

I have lost all respect for Pavlik, I think this fight is a joke. Paul Williams is a 147/154 pound fighter.

 

He will whop Pavlik's ass, don't worry about it.

he is, but he is also a legit 160 pounder. people can trash winky all they want: that was a GREAT win

 

pavlik to get ass kicked over 7-8 rounds, then the volume will catch up to him

Yo whats up Scar, I doubt that happens man. I just checked on boxrec and PWIlls opponents record over 160= 29 won-57 lost, not including winky. Bull**** fight, I like PW, but he has no business over 154. And Arthur "ducked" this guy:-(

 

be fair, this is the ONLY decent fight at 160 that can be made. better than mundine, better than sturm.

 

Sorry JOrodz, good win not a GREAT win, coming off a 2 year layoff feather fisted winky against a guy that throws a 1000 punches a fight. It was a bad style matchup for winky.

pavlik's rhythm is terribly obvious
he telegraphs his punches
is not good when forced to box
& gets confused when you dont engage with him

paul will fight pavlik the same way he did margarito & go for the decision and only chase the t/ko if the opportunity presents itself

the only "?" here is pauls ability to take pavliks punch

 

No it is not better then Mundine or Sturm(i know he got a gift over gevor) I would have preferred a legitimate 160 pounder, sorry this is bullhsit, and I am a PW fan man.
